Maddy's POV

Being a soc isn't always the best thing. Parent's are way to strict. On the other side of town they have so much freedom. See what I did was I snuck out and I ended up getting caught.

"MADDY WHERE WERE YOU" My dad screamed at me while my mother looked pissed.

"I was at Larissa's house what's the big deal?" I snapped back walking up to my room. Then my dad something I never thought he would do. He threw a flower vase at me and thankfully I have quick reflexes so I was able to block it with my arm. But it still hit me and I had a huge gash on my arm. I was so angry that I just ran out the door. I was running till I saw a little lot area. It wasn't on my side of town. It was the greasers side. I then started singing a song by the beatles because I am literally obsessed with the Beatles.

Then I noticed a group of guys walking towards me. I kinda jumped but one with brownish reddish hair came up to me and said,

"Hey are you okay, I heard you singing and you look upset"

"I'm okay don't worry" I said hugging myself. Then the boys eyes went wide and said,

"Darry we need to take her back to our place her arm is cut and it might be infected."

"I'm Ponyboy by the way" he said grabbing my hand and leading me towards his house. His name was pretty interesting and he's very cute. I could get used to having him around.

"I'm Maddy" I said getting up and walking with him

I have become very good friends with the gang. But I was way closer to one of them in particular. Ponyboy. He's the best thing ever. All the sudden I heard a knock on my front door. It was Ponyboy who looked rather nervous kind of.

"Hey Maddy can I talk to you outside for a minute" he said putting his hand to the back of his neck.

"Yeah sure Pone what's up, are you okay" I said putting on shoes and walking outside with Pony.

"I've known you for a while now and I really like you"

"I really like you too" I said my cheeks heating up as his did too. He then grabbed my hands and asked,

"Maddy will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes of course" I said grabbing him and kissing him. He's perfect and I won't ever let him go
