Lionel sighed as he leant back on the couch as he waited for his wife, it had been two months since they had agreed to give their relationship a proper go; Viola was fifteen weeks pregnant and they couldn't have been happier.

It was coming to the end of January and Lionel was pleased with how things between them were going, Gerard and Shakira had recently welcomed a son a few days earlier, who they named him Milan Piqué Mebarak.

The couple was thrilled and in three months’ time Cesc and Daniella were expecting a little girl. Glancing at his watch he sighed wondering what she was doing upstairs.

“Viola, we are going to miss our reservation,” Lionel called as Marley looked at him from her place curled up next to Nico; the argentine rolled his eyes at the pair that had become inseparable.

“I’m behind you, you don’t need to yell,” Viola said as she stepped into the living room amused as she made sure she had everything in her black clutch bag with lizard strap and fitting.

Lionel looked at his wife who was dressed in a coral needle and thread glint midi dress with low scoop back paired with black sandal boots.

“You look beautiful,” Lionel said as he moved to stand next to her, Viola grinned as she smoothed out his tie as he drew her close to him; the brunette rolled her eyes as she kissed his lips.

Running a hand through her hair, Lionel chuckled as she moved to tie it back into a messy bun so that he couldn't play with it.

“I thought you were complaining about our reservations,” Viola said making Lionel roll his eyes as he collect his car keys so that they could leave for the restaurant.

Lionel took Viola’s hand as they walked into Los Caracoles; the couple ignored the shouts from the paparazzi, they had slowly gotten used to the fact that they weren’t going to be left alone any time soon.

The only thing that they were pleased about was that they had been able to keep the fact that Viola was pregnant from them.

The brunette had made sure that her bump was covered at all times when she was out in public, the couple were lucky that the brunette wasn’t really showing much at the moment.

“You okay?” Lionel asked as he looked at his wife, he hated that they couldn't go anywhere without being followed, Viola nodded her head as she looked at her husband; she resisted the urge to rest a hand against the bump.

“Senor Messi,” the hostess said a little taken back to see the footballing star and his wife standing in the restaurant where she worked; Viola stopped herself from rolling her eyes, she had grown used to how people reacted in the three months of her marriage to Lionel.

“We have a reservation,” Lionel said as he drew his wife close, he watched the brunette fight back a laugh as she watched the blonde; the argentine wondered what the hostess would do if his wife wasn’t there.

Viola cleared her throat as she pressed a kiss to Lionel’s lips; the argentine blushed as the brunette ran her fingers through his hair and deepened the kiss while the hostess pursed her lips.

Viola smirked as she looked back at the hostess, who cleared her throat annoyed at having to see Lionel kissing his wife; the footballer glanced at his wife wondering if this was related to the pregnancy hormones.

“This way to your table,” the hostess said as she collected two menus before she led them to their table; Lionel looked at his wife, who flashed him a grin as they followed after the hostess.

“So how was training?” Viola asked making Lionel glance at her as they were seated, the brunette smiled as the hostess left them alone looking annoyed that the footballer hadn't even looked at her. Lionel looked at his wife.

“It was good… Geri brought in another picture of Milan,” he said making the brunette smile and nod her head; she knew that Lionel couldn't wait to be able to do the same thing with images of their child.

The couple still had several months until they were parents themselves, Viola had been spending time with Heather, Daniella and Shakira as she prepared herself to become a mother; they were more than happy to allow the brunette to learn from them.

“So what do you think we will have?” Lionel asked as they were served a jug of water, he glanced at his wife over his menu as she rested a hand on the ever growing bump; she was only fifteen weeks pregnant and at their next scan, they would learn what they were having.

“I think it’ll be a boy,” Viola said as she looked at Lionel, he grinned at the thought of having a son; it was clear that even though he didn't mind what they had, he would love to have a son to carry on his legacy in football.

Lionel chuckled as he laced his fingers with Viola’s, the couple were in no hurry to head home and he was enjoying the evening out with her.

“We should start thinking about doing the nursery,” Lionel mused as he wrapped an arm around her waist and drew her closer, the brunette grinned as she looked at her husband; she knew that he was excited about becoming a father.

“I’m not due for another twenty-five weeks,” Viola said amused as they strolled along, she looked at Lionel who shrugged as he kissed her head and rested his head against hers.

“There is no harm in being prepared… especially with all the matches coming up,” Lionel said making Viola nod her head, she closed her eyes contently for a moment before she opened her eyes and grinned as she pulled Lionel to a stop making him look at her concerned.

“Lala?” Lionel asked concerned as he looked at her, he didn't know what was wrong but he hoped that everything was okay with the baby.

“I can feel the baby,” Viola said grinning backing Lionel look at her, the brunette rested a hand on her stomach; she looked at Lionel while she grinned at the thought of feeling her baby move.

Lionel licked his lips as he rested a hand over hers; he knew that it would be awhile before he would be able to experience the feeling of his unborn child moving, he was just pleased that this was the first sign that everything was okay.

“Does it hurt?” Lionel asked curiously making Viola shake her head as she laced her fingers with her husband’s, she knew that he wished that she could feel what she could right now.

“It’s like a fluttering,” Viola said as she tried to explain the feeling of their child moving inside of her, she kissed Lionel softly as he nodded his head before they started walking again.

The couple walked silently completely unaware that they were being watched by Antonella, she pursed her lips as she watched them head back towards the car.

She rested her hand on her own swollen stomach and smirked at the thought of what would happen when she dropped the bomb that she was pregnant.

Antonella watched smugly, she couldn't wait to rip their relationship apart so that she could take her place again by Lionel’s side.

Especially now that Gavin had gone and left her; she knew that she was risking a lot but in her mind it was worth it.
