Viola frowned as she opened the front door to Antonella, who had arrived with the DNA results; the other woman smirked at her as she strutted into the house carrying Estella.

The brunette suddenly felt sick as she realised that Antonella was going to do something today that would change everything.

Viola followed her back into the kitchen and collected Thiago from Lionel, he glanced at his wife knowing that this was hard on her but he hoped that after today everything was going to be okay.

“Shall we get this over with?” Antonella asked as she handed Lionel the results that had arrived that morning; Viola licked her lips as she stared at the envelope.

Opening the envelope, Lionel read the results before he looked at Viola, the moment their eyes met confirmed the brunette’s worst fears.

“Estella’s mine,” Lionel confirmed making the brunette close her eyes as she held Thiago close; she nodded her head as she cuddled her son for a moment before Antonella smirked at her.

Putting on an innocent face, Antonella sighed before producing another envelope, she looked at Lionel sadly before passing it to him; Viola looked at her confused before she watched her husband opened the envelope.

“Someone hasn’t been completely honest with you,” Antonella said softly as she looked at Viola, who suddenly wondered what the other woman was talking about before Lionel stared at the piece of paper inside.

“Thiago isn’t mine,” Lionel said making his wife look at him confused, she slowly approached him and took the results from him; she stared numb as she read the letter and suddenly she felt faint.

“This isn’t possible, I haven’t been with anyone else, there has to be a mistake,” Viola said as she looked at her husband, she had been completely faithful to Lionel and she wasn’t about to allow some incorrect DNA test ruin her life.

Antonella slowly approached the couple; she knew that with only a few choice words that she could destroy the relationship between them.

“DNA tests are 99.99% accurate, there can’t be any mistake,” Antonella said as she moved to comfort Lionel; Viola felt her stomach turn wondering what the other woman had done to work out this result.

The brunette stared at her husband as he allowed his ex-girlfriend to comfort him.

“We could do another test, there’s no way…” Viola started to say before Lionel glare at her; he couldn't bring himself to look at the six week old that she held as he made a decision.

“Get out,” he said making his wife stare at him dumbfounded, she knew that he was upset but she hadn't expected him to say something like that.

“I want you out of my house,” Lionel said as he pushed himself to his feet, Antonella smirked as she watched the footballer grab a hold of Viola and start to drag her from the house.

“Leo por favor, what about Thiago? You can’t do this,” the brunette begged as Lionel pushed her out of the house; she stared at him as tears filled her eyes.

The footballer stared at her for a moment before shaking his head, he couldn't deal with her right now.

“I can and the bastard child is none of my concern,” Lionel said before slamming the front door in Viola’s face as the heaven’s opened and it started to rain.

The last thing Naya and Heather were expecting to turn up on their doorstep on the 9th of September was a soaking wet Viola holding Thiago; the brunette didn't tell them what had happened but they could see that it was bad.

“Viola, what happened? Do you need me to call Leo?” Heather asked as she wrapped a towel around the brunette while Naya dealt with Thiago, Viola clutched a cup of coffee as she sat quietly; tears filled her eyes at the mention of her husband.

“He threw me out,” Viola said softly making her two friends stare at her shocked, they all knew how much Lionel loved her and Thiago so they couldn't believe that he would throw her out like this.

Heather looked at her wife before moving to sit next to Viola, who didn't look at her; she could see that whatever had happened had been bad and that the brunette was in shock.

“The DNA results… they came back negative for Thiago,” Viola revealed as she tried to wrap her head around what had happened; she couldn't believe that the other woman had done this to her.

“That’s not possible… I’ve seen the way you are with Messi, you worship the ground that he walks on; you would never cheat on him,” Naya said as she looked down at the little boy, she worried for him since he’d been out in the rain and he was so young.

Viola closed her eyes as she started to cry, she knew that Lionel wasn’t going to listen to sense and that Antonella was probably filling his head with lies right now.

The brunette knew that when word broke of this that her life was over; the media would take Lionel’s side and she would be outcast.

“What are you going to do?” Heather asked concerned for her friend, she knew how stubborn the footballer could be; she hoped that he would see sense before it cost him the woman he loved and their son.

Viola opened her eyes and looked at her friends, she knew that she couldn't wait for Lionel to see sense; Antonella had him in her claws and she was unlikely to let him go.

“I’ll play it by ear for a while and then if he doesn’t come around, I’m leaving Barcelona,” Viola said as she looked at her son, she had to do this for him; he depended on her and now that Lionel had thrown her out, she needed to do what was best for him.

Lionel buried his head into his arms, he couldn't believe that Viola had done this to him; he had loved her and she had betrayed him, he had thought that she was different but she had done this.

“You okay?” Antonella asked as she set a cup of coffee in front of him, he was grateful that she had stayed with him so that she could make sure that he was okay.

“I can’t believe that Thiago wasn’t mine,” Lionel said as he looked over at Estella, he felt sorry for the man that was the little boy’s father; he had never met his son because of Viola’s selfish act.

Antonella cuddled close to his side, she was thrilled about how well her plan had worked; she didn't even feel sorry for Viola, who had just had her entire life collapse around her. “

What will you do?” the brunette asked as she looked at Lionel, she had to be careful and make sure that he didn't think about having the little boy retested; she knew that she had to remain in control and keep him wrapped around her finger.

“I want a divorce, I can’t trust her and I can’t raise her bastard child,” Lionel said as he felt sick at the thought of Thiago; he had always wanted a son and now that he knew that Thiago wasn’t his, he didn't want anything to do with him.

Antonella tried to keep her smile hidden as she realised that she had succeeded in splitting up the couple; after tomorrow no one would believe Viola and she would be welcomed back with open arms no matter what she had done in the past.
