Percy POV

Was this a good idea? Nope. Should we really reveal our powers to this random lady? Absolutely not. I mean, it's not like we're revealing the Greek and Roman mythology world, not to even mention our experience with Norse and Egyptian gods, so it can't be that bad. Right? I could see that we were all very hesitant to do this, so as I was walking to the center of the room with Nico and Thalia walking at my sides, I spoke in a low voice so that the guards couldn't hear. "I don't think it'd be a good idea to show the full extent of our powers. Maybe a small portion of them. Thalia, only make mini storms. Nico, don't raise the dead, only use shadows if you can. Don't wanna freak them out too badly. I'll only use my control over water and won't make any storms. And don't do any shadow traveling or use the winds, and I won't mist travel. And please, for the love of the gods, no maiming each other." Thalia gave a sinister smirk, to which me and Nico just rolled our eyes. We reached the middle and stood facing each other in a triangle-like shape. We all grabbed our weapons, still in disguise and got in position. I heard a guard snickering to my right. "What can they do with a pen, ring, and a necklace?" We all turned our heads to the guard. We each gave him our most sinister smirk we could manage, and he started looking a little pale. We faced each other again and revealed our weapons.

Thalia started my pulling off her necklace and pushing down on her watch. Her spear grew in her hand and her shield expanded, chilling anyone who saw it, except for me and Nico who were used to it by now. Wait, how does Thalia even have her watch when they were supposed to take all of our items. My thought process was cut off, because Nico was next. He twisted his ring to the left on his finger, and the ring broke from the back of his finger. It straightened out and grew into his styngian iron sword. I was last. I took the cap off of my ballpoint pen and it elongated with a 'chink' into my trusty sword, riptide.

We raised our weapons and waited. We started to circle each other, waiting for another to attack. I guess Thalia realized that no one was gonna make a move, so she sprung into action. She launched at me with her spear point directed at me and her shield protecting her front. I couldn't exactly block that attack, so I did the next best thing. I did a front flip over her head and jammed my sword hilt on a pressure point in her back, but she blocked it and tried to hit me, to which I twisted my body in mid air. I landed in a kneeling position and swiftly stood on my feet in a ready position. She turned to face me and I saw her eyes flicker to over my left shoulder. I sensed a disturbance in the water molecules in the the air behind me, a knew trick I learned, coming straight for me. I turned and raised my sword, blocking Nico's attack. I rolled to the left so I wasn't sandwiched in between my cousins. They were both stalking me, teaming up against me. Alright, I can play dirty too.

Amanda POV

These kids were......I don't even have the words. I watched their fight. They have yet to use their powers, but they used purely skill, instinct, and strategy. They fight each other as if they've done it a million times. Nico and Thalia have ganged up on Percy, and, suprisingly, he was gaining the upper hand. He was going at it with Nico while still blocking Thalia's attacks. He did a disarming maneuver, relieving Nico of his sword, and put his sword up to his neck. "I yield," said Nico. Percy quickly removed his sword and continued with the fight Thalia. Nico quickly grabbed his sword, turned it back to a ring, and made his way over to us. Percy blocked another attack from Thalia and shoved her back. She slid back about 4 feet and skidded to a stop. She huffed out a breath, put her shield away, and charged Percy. They faught for a few more minutes before Thalia jabbed her spear towards his chest. He blocked with his sword, grabbed her spear, twisted it in the air, and pointed her spear at her throat with his sword behind her neck.

She growled in frustration and said, in a very annoyed tone, "I yield." Percy smirked and stepped back, removing the weapons from his cousin's neck. He handed her her spear and they rid themselves of their weapons. As they made their way over to us, I started a slow, dramatic clap. "Impressive." They will be perfect. With them fighting, we can't lose.
