Will I ever find rest
My soul peace
And my heart solace
Will this pain never end
After all these long years
It seems an eternity and
That hope starts to fade
I keep pushing forward
I keep fighting hard
The day will come
My soul is found
The weight of the past
A weight that can kill
A life lost to history
I am not that history
I will rise again higher
Beyond the stars I once chased
In the darkness I was lost
A soul found at long last
A life once again finally rebuilt
