Ash POV

I had slept in late, because introducing the recruit messed up my sleep schedule. I walked into the large cafeteria, grabbing an Apple and a glass of water.

I was mid apple when I saw Grim ghost into the cafeteria. He sat down on the other side of the room. This time he was only wearing a t-shirt and normal jeans, but he had a balaclava on, and sunglasses on.

I decided to eat with him, since he seemed like he could use company.

As I walked over, I noticed something, I could see a bunch of scars on his neck, and even what looked like a burn.

"Hey, I'm Ash, as you know. I didn't introduce myself earlier, I was really tired." All he did was give me a slight nod and went back to sipping his coffee.

"Do you ever talk?" I asked him. I could see the scars on him more clearly, there was one that cut across the back of his neck, and another one snaked across his collar bone. The burn scar I barely see because he made a conscious effort to cover it.

"Not much." I was kind of surprised to hear him talk, his voice sounded smooth and deep, not at all what I expected.
