Halfway across the planet, a digital figure emerges from the ground.
"Time is finally up! I am finally free!"
The figure quickly opened a portal to Metropolis.
Meanwhile, Lana and Eliza headed down to 4th Avenue.
"Ladies, I am sorry to say this but this area has been evacuated due to a shooting. If you live here, the area should be cleared within the next hour and a half."
"Officer, sorry but we're reporters," said Lana.
"Oh, ok!"
"We were just wondering if you could give us highlights of this shooting."
"Excuse me! I'm here reporting another investigation."
The officer quickly let her in.
"Can I ask for your name?"
"Siobhan McDougal."
Wait, I know that name! I just can't put my lips to it...
"I'm sure you all want the scoop. Anyways, it started this morning as a robbery but then turned into a hostile takeover. We have strike teams pursuing the escapees and should be back any minute now. Is that all the information?"
"I--"
"Yup! Let's go, Eliza! Things to do, people to meet."
They quickly walked back to the taxicab.
"What're you doing!" Eliza whispered.
"I know that woman but I can't put my finger on it.."
Just then, the digital figure walked up to Siobhan.
"Ma'am, you are needed elsewhere."
He quickly grabbed her and walked through a teleporter door. The cop looked confused.
"This is bad. Very bad."
"We should go back, Lana. Just in case, y'know, we're next?"
"Fine ok let's go."
They quickly headed off in the distance.
