(edd's pov)
edd was pacing back and forth as the generals were offering battle techniques on how to avoid the turrets and how to get in the base.
"green commander this is very urgent to know what are the risks and possibilities that might happen if we do attack the red army's main base" one of the generals commented as he picked up a toy soldier "that army not only rules most of the world but has a large amount of soldiers making us outnumbered by maybe" the general gave a sideways glance at edd "a thousand? we are just a small group of rebels that are yet growing"
edd furrowed his eyebrows "i know but me and matt discussed our battle techniques we will distract multiple soldiers and sneak into the base dressed up as their own soldiers tricking them and sneaking tom out of that base the army wouldnt even realize it was us but we can only pick out four people and luckily we have two red army soldiers who want to stop tord from destroying this world than it is now AND UN-BAN COLA" edd raised his fist "SO THE TWO EXTRA SOLDIERS WHO WILL BE GOING WILL BE I AND MATT" he turned to his generals "you guys will put in charge while me and matt are away ok"
"YES SIR" the generals saluted as edd turned to face paul and patryck
"you two get us some uniforms and we will be off to the main red army base where tord is keeping tom hostile" edd whispered softly
"if it will make our son himself again then am up to the challenge" paul grumbled crossing his arms at patryck strokes his stubble
"we both know that tord never meant to be like this if it werent for the army he joined long ago" patryck whispered gently "well lets go and get those uniforms" patryck smiled as he and paul headed out the door
edd turned to face matt who was distracted from admiring himself in the mirror "the sooner we get tom the sooner tom is safe" edd whispered to his husband who was distracted "urgh" he snatches the mirror away earning a terrified scream from matt "WHERE YOU EVEN LISTENING?"
"were we talking about oscar and how cute he is when he tries to nip our hand" matt whispered scared just to earn a slap across the head by hand "ow my handsome hair" edd huffed
__one month later__
(tord's pov)
tord was at his desk as tom was pacing back and forth limping a bit as tord slowly looked and glared at tom "if you keep pacing you will have a reason to limp and whine" tord growled a bit as picks up a pen and started scribbling words onto the piece of paper as tom kept pacing making tord furrow his eyebrows "what is it dammit"
tom turned to face tord "i feel like something is going to happen and i dont know what but something is going to happen" tom mumbled silently
tord burst out laughing as he holds his stomach and pulls out a gun and points it at tom "oh shut up will you?" he growled darkly "you worry a bit to much and it-" tord was interrupted with a loud explosion not far from the office "what the fuck" he growled and glared at tom "your up to something you little" there was another explosion but it was closer as something kicked the door open
(edd's pov)
"HANDS IN THE AIR" edd pointed his prototype gun as it started to beam "ITS TIME FOR YOU TO GIVE UP TORD THIS WAR HAS GONE TOO FAR AND YOU KNOW IT" edd snarled a bit as another explosion and gunshots were heard.
tord glared at edd then tom "you bloody traitor.." he snarled at tom "bloody traitor" he raised his new robotic arm about to punch tom till edd tackled tord to the ground and pins him down pointing the prototype to his head as tord just glanced at edd "ah edd you cant kill me and you already know how loyal tom is" he glares at tom in a threatening way as tom tensed up and picking up the pistol tord had checking the bullets "and we both know tom would be useless"
edd furrowed his eyebrows as the prototype beeped telling it was ready to fire "i know what your doing to-" edd tensed when the tip of the gun was pointed at edd's head "tom...were here to save you-" he stopped when he realized the collar tom was wearing as it was turning red tom's eyes shown with fear
"edd...get off tord now...or ill pull the trigger" tom exhaled shakily as edd slowly stood up tord instantly handcuffed edd and threw him on the ground
"tom...what has he done to you" edd whispered 'tord is that is what happened' edd thought to himself as he glanced at tom who refuged to look his way
"tom is just strong" tord grips tom's jaw making him look at edd "hes a loyal meatshield"
tom looked upset as he sighed "you have the right to remain silent edward gold till red leader speaks to you personally call your soldiers back your being taken in as prisonner" tom mumbled blankly as he pulls out edd's radio
"fall back...fall back" edd mumbled silently as he sighed "target not acquired" he sounded upset and worried
"thats my meatshield" tord mumbled in tom's ear loud enough for edd to hear
