Based on the story The keepers of Discord by Hoopy McGee on fimfiction.net
If you don't want to read the original story this is based off of there is a dramatic reading by Dr. Wolf which is linked above the title. It's over an hour long because it's a long read (literally it's like 10k+ words in total) but I still like it.
So enjoy!
P.S: Alternate Universe and stuff like that. And sorry for grammar errors my auto-correct doesn't work anymore.

Romeo POV:

You would think that being trapped in stone was a bad thing... and it is! Let me explain. After Jesse and her friends beat me they somehow froze me into a stone statue. Lets hope that no one chooses to come at me with a pickax.

But anyways I was moved into my own little grove in beacon town. It was a quiet place (odd since beacon town was always so loud) and it kept civilians away from trowing eggs or breaking me. Why they chose to trap me in a stone prison was unknown to me. It seems that they wanted to teach me a lesson, but I refused said lesson.

Now Jesse, Lukas, Petra, Axel, Olivia, Ivor, and Xara where standing right in front of my statue, unknown to them that I'm actually sentient but I just can't move my body.

"So... one of us has to look after Romeo. Any volunteers?" Xara asked.

"Now as much as I would love to stay and look after this... thing," Ivor began, "I have to reconnect with some old friends of mine. No time to look after this fool of a dead man."

Dead? Well I'm very much alive sir! I thought. I wanted to speak but my mouth would not move, my face stuck in the same shocked position.

"I agree with Ivor. Axel and I have towns to look over and so does Jesse." Olivia pointed out.

Petra scoffed, "I refuse looking after some old British guy. I have adventures to go on, places to see and discover!" Watch it girly, I thought once more.

"So I guess that leaves me." Lukas said glumly.

"Sorry Lukas, but there's none of us to look after him. Except you that is." Jesse said.

"Why do we have to look after him anyways? Can't we just let him rot? Or smash him no less?" Axel asked.

"He might be a moron, but he's my moron," Xara said, "if I could I would look after him, but I can't. A lot of us can't. He might be encased in stone but he could still be in there, somewhere. Besides someone has to clean that statue, it'll be covered in parrot droppings otherwise."

"But is that really going to be my job? Cleaning Romeo? There has to be another way!" Lukas almost begged.

"Well... there is another way." Ivor spoke up.

The other six looked at Ivor and so did I, though my eyes didn't move. Ivor scratched his head and messed with his beard. Then saying, "We could get someone else to do it."

That leads to today. It was about a week later since that meeting and each day one of the seven would come and give my statue a cleaning. Until today when Jesse came when things got interesting for me. She wasn't alone for she had another person with her.

"Romeo," Jesse said, "I don't know if you're in there, but if you are we found some company for you!" Jesse stopped for a moment and told the other woman to wait here, then she scrambled off towards the meeting hall which was a little stroll away.

Yet looking at the woman I started to recognize her a little bit. She wore a blue and white stripped long sleeve shirt, jeans, boots... and that was it really. She had light skin and flowing brown hair, and barely noticeable green eyes. OH! It was that girl from those Ocelots I barely recognized her without the jacket! Darn what was her name again? Whatever, it isn't important right now. But she just stared at me, staring at me with this strange look. A look of curiosity, but a smidgen of anger in her eyes. She's probably still mad at me like everyone else.
