Sudden increase in heart beat and calmness long gone,
Like a missile plummeting in your soul, what in heavens is going on?
With a heart threatening to burst out of the rib cage,
And shoddy thoughts turning right and left like a page.
Add a stiff body and palms so sweaty,
They look like a river, you situation being petty.
This happens in worst-case scenarios, like a sudden horrific test,
Or confronting a friend who is one of your best!
At times like these, let positivity engulf you and just hope for the best,
And take a deep breath and leave the rest...
