Chapter 1: New Beginnings

June 5th:
Today marks 2 years since I last went to music camp. I've been talking to Shawn, but I haven't physically see him or physically talk to him in 2 years. That ends today. This year I'm going back to music camp, and I'm hoping that Shawn is there too. I can't wait to see Jasmine and Luke.

I rode the bus there, sitting next to a girl I've never met before. She was quiet and shy. She just stared at her book. She was reading a Harry Potter book. Based off of that, I could tell she was a civil person. I didn't really talk to anyone on the bus. I got bored, so I pulled out my phone and listened to Take on Me.

I was jamming out until I heard a familiar voice on the bus say,

"Haley, calm yourself. You don't need to be that excited"

"SHANE!!!"

"It's nice to see you too Haley" he said. I got off the bus, only hoping to have beaten Shawn with getting here. I chose my cabin. I picked cabin 4 this year. I had enough room for Luke, Jasmine, Shawn, and me. I picked a bed and put my clothes away in the drawer next to it. I then made sure my bed was made nice and neatly. After that. I got out of the cabin and walked around a little, hoping one of my friends would be here soon.

Shawn's Point of View:
I'm so pumped to see Haley again. I miss her beautiful brown eyes, he medium length brown hair, and her converse. I thought in my head as I started to chuckle.
"How much longer until the car is fix Oliver?"

"Hopefully only 5 minutes"

"Ok. I'm trying to beat Haley to camp" I told him. He didn't seem to interested, so I didn't really say anything to him about it. I looked over at the beautiful waster only to find out the car wasn't going to work. I had to call for an Uber. Hopefully I'll still beat her there.

Haley's Point of View:
I got tired of waiting, so I went to paint a lovely picture. Is says "Bears... Beets... BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!!!"(if you don't know what it is from, watch the video in the top). I took it back to my cabin after it dried. I hung it above my bed, as well as a picture of Shawn and I. I really do miss him. I decided to sit on my bed and look at my phone. It said "One text from Mom". I looked down, dreading the message. I thought it was going to say Shawn wasn't coming, but instead she was just checking up on me. I made sure she knew that I was good to go and then I pulled out my uke. I learned how to play a new song. Around 3pm, they had another open mic. I went up on stage to perform, but before I could we heard a truck. It came and Shawn stood up. "SHAWN!!!!" I yelled and Shane clenched his ears. I ran over to him and gave him a hug. I've missed him so much. "Well, I've missed Shawn but it turns out I'm not the early person" Shane said. Shawn quickly responded back "Guys, remember I am a normal person, please treat me normal" he said. Shane quickly took over and had me go up on stage and perform. I chose to perform Heavy by Linkin Park (May Chester Bennington RIP).
