Chapter 10

July 15th:
I woke up this morning. I didn't have anyone next to me and I still felt safe.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. I hopped in the shower. After about 30 minutes, I hopped out and went out into the main area of my cabin. I put on a black shirt and green shorts. I heard a knock at my door.

"Coming" I shouted.

I walked over to the door, slowly drying off my hair.

"Hey Haley. How did you sleep"

"Jesse. I slept good. What are you doing here this early?"

"I came over to walk you to breakfast" he told me.

"Oh. Well, let me dry my hair and I'll be ready to go"

I headed back into the bathroom. I first started by brushing my teeth. Then I blow dried my hair. It was really poofy, so I put it into 2 braids. I walked back out into my room, where Jesse jump out at me.

"What the hell Jesse? You just scared me"

"I'm sorry" he said, staring into my eyes. Jesse had some of the prettiest green eyes I think I've every see.

Jesse leaned down and kissed me. We then took it onto the bed.

"Wait..." I said.

"Jesse, I can't do this yet. I did it with Shawn and I still feel bad about it"

"No problem Haley. I wouldn't do that to you. I respect that"

"I'm doing to head out. I'm going to go the dinning hall by myself. I'll meet you there" I told him.

I got a weird song stuck in my head.

I walked head soon and started to sing it.
