Halloween Party

So here's a Dan one.

It's October 31st

Aka Halloween

Aka the day you met Dan.

You met him at an intense Halloween party.

You were at a corner drinking soda because you didn't feel the need to get drunk in order to have a good time.

But since everyone was wasted you were left alone in the corner. You were playing flappy bird until your phone died.

'Crap' you thought.

You were left with nothing to do except notice. You noticed all the different types of drunk people, everyone taking a turn in the bedroom upstairs. And those who didn't want to wait just went for it on the couch.

You didn't like parties. In fact you didn't even want to come to this one. You'd rather be home on the internet or playing Mario kart 8 until you fell asleep.

But your friend insisted you go and now you couldn't just leave her drunk.

You noticed some and then you came across this boy.

He was really tall and wearing a black t-shirt with skinny jeans.

It seems we was doing the same thing you were... Noticing.

Then he looked straight at you.

'Crap' you quickly looked down.

You glimpsed up and saw he was coming.

This boy was gorgeous.

"Hi." He said

"H-hey" Okay so far so good

"I'm Dan."

"I'm y/n"

"That's beautiful."

"Thanks" you blush.

He keeps staring at you.

"Oh no do I have something in my face!" Your hands fly up to your face but in the process you hit him in the stomach

Fuck.

"Shit, I'm so sorry"

"Haha no it's cool, and no you don't have anything on you're face I just can't help but stare since you're so beautiful"

Wow cheesy, but still cute.

You blush "thanks"

"no problem, so I couldn't help but notice you standing here lonely, why is that?"

"Why am I standing? Oh you knew just because everyone is practically trying to swallow each other on the couch!"

"Hahaha, no I mean why are you so lonely. A beautiful girl like you must have a boyfriend."

Wow this guy just goes straight for it.

"Um no, no I don't have a boyfriend... Or friends at all. I mainly just sit on the internet really... Either that or play video games and cry in sorrow after I finish an anime"

Wow I sound like a dork.

"Wow... You just described my life right there"

"What?"

"That's exactly how my life is. Internet, video games, anime and sleep. The only reason I'm here is because my friend Phil wanted to take his girlfriend. I thought id come just in case either of them get drunk"

"Haha that's exactly why I'm here"

"Well y/n, seems like we have a lot of things in common"

"Yeah, I guess we do."

You spend the rest of the night talking to him. Dan was his name.

Turns out he's internet famous! And he does a radio show that's broadcast worldwide!

And he's so into you!

"Well that's my friend" you point at the girl who's talking to the fish "yep she defiantly needs to get home"

"It was nice meeting you"

"Yeah it was" he leans in to kiss you.

You move away. "What are you doing?"

"Oh I'm sorry, too soon?"

"Yeah sorry I don't usually kiss guys on first dates."

"So this was a date"

"Hmm.. I guess. So if you want that kiss you need to text me" you wink and hand him your phone number.

He smirks and puts in his pocket "will do"

You leave the party and go straight to bed.

You keep thinking of him.

His smile, those eyes, and that fringe...

Your thoughts are interrupted by your phone buzzing.

Unknown number.

"You forgot this."

It was a picture of Dan with your purse!

"Oh crap" you reply.

"Guess you too have an excuse to see me ;)"

You smile and go back to bed.

Tonight was perfect.
