until he'll complain
that his ears are bleeding

and if not,
then continue
let him
be in subdue
of the music
he's listening to

may the songs
enlighten him
of the thoughts
that's been ringing in
and of the feelings
you tried so hard to pin.

he may not
listen to you
while you speak
with your mouth
of the truth
so may this
awaken him

it's his choice
to sink or swim.
leave him be
as of the moment,
let him ponder
all he is starting to wonder

i hope
he's not that deaf now
and if he still is,
it's his loss
