Chapter 5

I felt myself being shaken, annoyed I tried to turn over when I fell out of my chair.

Remembering I'm in a hospital not a big comfy warm bed, I stood up to see Froy smiling a little.

" We're gonna get some food, want to come? "
Froy said dropping his smile, I missed it so dearly.

" sure, any news on Angel? "

" They said his fevers gone down and his heart rate sped up. So great news so far. Dr. Ian says he'll most likely wake up in the next 24 hours. If not he'll be pronounced brain dead. " I see a his cheeks start to turn red.

Froys cheeks were tear stained and red.
So much hurt I can't bear to look at him.

He's so handsome.

I walk closer to him and wrap my arms in his arm pits and pull him close. He reacts fast and pulls me in aswell. He sucks in a deep breath and shakily let it go.

I'm still not sure what we are. But what ever it is I really like it.

My blond curls that went below my butt are really messy. I put my hair into a long pony tail that ended at my butt.

I followed Froy and Kelly out of the plane white boring hospital rooms and we walked down the same plane white boring hospital hallway.

Froy stops walking for a minute so I can catch up to him since I was walking slower then him.

Once we are next to each other he keeps walking again.

I feel something touch my hand and I look down to see Froy has wrapped his fingers in mine.

I don't say anything I just smile and wrap my fingers around his.

I lean my head on his shoulder.

I turn my phone on for the first time in 24 hours.

I didn't want to be distracted or texting anyone, so a simple way for me to block myself out from the world.. was to turn it off.

When the bright screen turns on I shield my eyes. It's 4:30 AM my eyes are used to the dark.

The passcode for me to punch in were now lit on the screen. I ignored that and did my Touch ID.

3 texts from my manger

6 from Cody

2 from mom

1 from dad

God damn.

I click the ones from Cody not caring about my job. Who wants to be stressed out right now.

" Hey, your late you okay? "

" You missed your shift and didn't call should I be worried? "

" I'll come pick you up so we can hang out. "

" Your not here? Maybe we can hang another time, let me know next time? "

8:32 AM

" You coming into work today? "

" Are you ignoring me?! "

I respond and tell him what's happening.
Knowing he'll be asleep.

Texts from mom.

" Hey hun. "

" call me, I got the new bed. "

Texts from dad.

" A man named Cody Wined messaged me on Facebook saying you didn't show up to work you okay hun? "

I grunt, why the hell does Cody care so much?!
