Thursday, June 13th, one year later
Dear Journal,
It's been a while. One year has passed and I am completely cancer free now. I finished my novel and it was published. Nate is still around, He moved in! Rose has grown into a beautiful chocolate lab and I take her for walks every day. I owe it all to the amazing doctors at the hospital and Nate's ongoing support. Without them, I wouldn't be here today.We live happily day in and day out now. I quit my job at the bakery and I went back to school to become a lawyer. Nate isn't studying to be anything, but that's alright.
