Okay, so your a hedgehog in this ;3 Since it was never specified what the reader actually was. Anyways this was requested by AserethRinae! The reader and Shadow are in a relationship :3

Note: (F/MK/C) = Favourite Mario Kart Character.

You sat curled up on your couch, surfing through the tv channels, bored out of your mind. Unnoticed to you, Shadow had come up and stood behind you, watching the tv change at incredible speed. With nothing to watch, you groaned and put the remote down, leaning into the palm of your hand. The hedgehog let a smile cross his features before sitting down beside you. 

The light in the living room made your (H/C) quills shine, the (F/C) highlights becoming brighter as well. Your (E/C) gaze met Shadow's brilliant ruby orbs, as a smile appeared on your muzzle. With no effort at all, you fell back with your head in his lap, looking up at Shadow expectantly. His right ear flickered before he pressed his lips to your forehead, making you pout. 

"What's wrong with you now?" He asked, watching you sit up and face him. 

"One, wrong spot. Two, I'M BOOOORRRREEEEEEDDD!!!" You whined, your ears pinning back against your head. Shadow rolled his eyes playfully at you before sighing and looking the opposite way. 

"Sonic did invite us over today." Your ears perked up, your (E/C) orbs doubled in size as a wide grin was plastered on your muzzle. 

"Well... What're we waiting for?! Let's go!" You jumped off the couch happily, grabbing Shadow's arm and pulling him to the door. He shook his head with a small smile. You rushed out the door and waited on the pathway, hands on your hips. 

"Shadowwww, hurry up!!" You pouted, watching your boyfriend lock the door and walk to you. 

"You're so impatient." He stated, walking beside you through the leaves that had taken their fall from the too-hard-to-reach tree branches. You slid your hand into his and skipped along the path, humming a soft melody. You stopped, noticing Shadow's happy mood and tilted your head. 

"And you're so happy, because? I thought you didn't like Sonic?" You questioned, looking at him suspiciously. He shrugged. 

"I get to relax because you won't be annoying me." He said simply, watching you cross your arms over your chest and pout. 

'God, she's adorable.' Shadow thought, throwing a teasing smile at you. You giggled and playfully punched him in the arm. 

"You're such a jerk." You told him, smiling slightly. 

"Love you, too." He answered, looking further down the path. 

====Timeskip====

Shadow was sitting on the couch as you and Sonic sat on the floor, getting ready to play Mario Kart. You and the blue hedgehog acted like siblings, always mucking around like idiots. 

"Oh, Honey, no. I love you too much to let you humiliate yourself like this." He said with a posh accent, as you picked your character, (F/MK/C). You turned to look at him, placing a hand over you chest in an offended way. 

"Bish please, you don't think I can beat you at Mario Kart?" You challenged, cocking your head to the side as your grip on the controller tightened. 

"Duh, I am the best at this." He gloated, noting how he's beat everyone who's ever challenged him. 

"Is that a challenge?" You asked him, before the race began. 

"I dunno, is it?" 

"Then it's settled. The winner gets the loser to do whatever they want for the rest of the day. Deal?" You outstretched your hand to him, watching him think.
