[TUTORIAL] Simple ROM-COM Poster

Simple ROM-COM Poster

*For Photoshop and Pixlr users

//Affogato-

#1 Make a canvas (ang book cover size ng Wattpad ay 256x400)

#2 Place the first photo aka the background photo. Resize the photo kagaya ng ginawa ko, kailangang kitang-kita ang mukha ng mga characters sa background.

#3 Make a new layer and fill it with your desired color. And change the blend mode to ‘screen’.

#4 Place the main character’s photo at the middle of the canvas. Tip: Before resizing the photo, makikita niyo sa upper menu (kung saan makikita ang size ng photo, angle etc.) I-click niyo ang parang dalawang kadenang magkadugtog (link) para hindi siya maging warped or awkward tignan.

#5 Type in the text or the title of story. And place it in the middle of the canvas, below the main character’s picture.

#6 Using any kind of tool that you want (btw, I used the lasso tool) cut the main character’s body. Hanggang doon lang sa taas ng text para parang nakapatong siya sa text at hindi mahalata na putol ang picture ng character.

#7 Be creative and add some text styles. Ang mga ginamit ko na text styles are stroke, inner shadow and drop shadow.

#8 Add some pngs or mag-design! Lol. Add the captions, watermark etc etc.

#9 Add a psd or coloring. Dahil marunong naman ako at hindi naman kailangangang bongga ang coloring ng isang rom-com poster, ako na lang ang gumawa. I added curves and vibrance, dahil nga rom-com poster, mas colorful at matingkad mas maganda. But be careful, nakakasira din ng graphics kapag sobrang matingkad ang mga kulay.

#10 Add some finishing touches. I used smart sharpen for the both photos (the background and the main character), I added a white border and set the blend mode to overlay (I think?) and added a pattern style on the background photo.
