lexi's pov :

"i want to" i said

they all look happy and all smiley

"but i cant" i added

"what?" charles said

"why?" joey said

"i don't know, i'm just- i'm not ready to move back you know" i said

"you're not gonna be alone lexi, you have us" sophia said

"yeah but still i don't know what to say to kenzie and melissa anyways, they all like always there for me" i said

neither of them say a word after i said that

"can we just focus on the game please? i'm still here guys, don't worry about that. i'll try my best to talk to kenzie and melissa okay? you guys miss me that much huh?" i joke around but no one laugh

"come on" i said

"i'm not in the mood" joey said then go back to his room

"i'm sorry" i said to all and chase joey

"joey please" i said while holding his hand

"please" i said

"let's talk" i said after he turned around to me

i bring him outside and we go to a little ice cream shop beside the hotel. i ordered cookies and cream ice cream and joey ordered pineapple chocochip ice cream (idk if this flavor exists irl but wtv joey likes pineapple irl lol).

"why are you mad?" i asked

"seriously lex?" he asked

"i'm serious, i don't know what i did wrong" i said innocently.

i really don't know. it's not my fault that i can't go back to LA. i told them the truth now joey is mad. ugh. we literally just got back together like 3 hours ago.

"we just got back. i don't wanna lose you again" he said

"you'll never lose me jojo"
"i told you i'll come back, just not tomorrow" i said

they're going back to LA tomorrow. and i'm not ready. i still miss them, i still wanna hang out with them and talk about life. they make me happy.

"why? just tell kenzie that you wanna go back to LA it's not that hard" he said

"joey we're 17 now. please respect my choices. i told you, i'll come back, i promise" i said

"promise is a big thing lex, don't say that easily" he said

"i promise" i said and hold his hand

"fine" he said

"i'll call you, i'll facetime you, i'll text you everyday" i said and smile

joey's pov :

ugh, i was planning to tell her that i've been studying in public school if she came to LA with us. guess i can't say anything to her. i feel bad tho, but she doesn't want to go back so ..

she's really selfish. i can't even imagine what it would be like without her and she knows that. yet she chooses to stay in NY.

lexi's pov :

we go back to the hotel after we took a long walk. we talked a lot. i'm gonna miss him. it's already 9 pm now, everybody is already asleep because the flight to LA is gonna be 6 am tomorrow morning. it's early so they need some rest.
