[Mani🐻]: from the moment we sat down this older couple next to us kept like staring us down in the most aggressive and hateful way possible
[Mani🐻]: i ignored it, i knew that they were talking about us too because they would whisper something and then glance at us again
[Mani🐻]: but we were like twenty minutes into this dinner and all d could focus on were the assholes next to us
[Mani🐻]: and then they went to whisper to each other one more time and dinah lost it
[Mani🐻]: she got into like a screaming match with the woman who was arguing that we were going to go to hell and that it was disgusting we were together and blah blah blah
[Mani🐻]: the manager ended up kicking dinah and i out because dinah started the whole disruption and screaming match
[Mani🐻]: but i'm not mad because my girl stuck up for me :)

[Ally🙏]: it's 2016 and people still think that you guys shouldn't be together because you're both girls

It was now well past midnight and all but two of the five girls were passed out asleep in Lauren's living room.
After stopping at Dinah's house so both the girls could change into something more comfortable, they went to Lauren's. There, the five girls caught Normani up with whatever drama had been happening at their school, ate crappy food, and watched horrible movies on Lifetime. Camila was the first to fall asleep, dozing off on the loveseat, her feet sticking over the edge of the small couch. Ally was next, one second she was awake and the next she was dead asleep in the recliner. And last came Lauren, who had said "Night lovebirds, don't do anything gross" to the pair on the floor before calling it a night and falling asleep on the couch.
It was quiet except for the occasional sleep talking mumble for Ally. Normani's eyes were getting heavy as she laid with her head in her girlfriend's lap. She was fighting sleep hard as Dinah subconsciously began to run her fingers through Normani's hair.
"Go to sleep, Mani," Dinah said quietly. Normani didn't move, and only hummed in response which showed that she would be asleep in minutes. A peaceful silence fell again.
"Hey Dinah," Normani mumbled sleepily.
"Yes?" The dark skinned girl forced her eyes open so she could look at Dinah's face.
"Thank you for yelling at that couple earlier," she said. Dinah smiled.
"You know I would do anything to make you happy, so even if I have go fight some middle aged bitch to get you to be happy, I will do it," she replied. Normani felt a warm feeling spread throughout her entire body. She interlaced their fingers and kissed Dinah's hand before falling asleep in Dinah's lap.
