I stared at her, nodding repeatedly after every sentence. "Make sure to keep her comfy," nod. "Keep her back against something solid so she can feel at least a little protected," nod. "Wash her hands and put on those mittens and take care of both cats," nod, nod, nod. I understood half, and then she was suddenly just flat out gone. I was kind of in a daze for a bit, before I realized she had said that the cat needed a bath.

Oh God. I'm going to have to give the cat a bath. And not any cat. A human cat. With human qualities. A female. With boobs. I groaned loud, not even being able to contain the awful noise that came out of my mouth. This was going to be so uncomfortable for me, but, it's nothing I haven't seen on the other girls and guys I bought. Yes, guys too. Well, one time... Not fun. Not fun at all...

Wait. Cats. Samuel! God, where is he? I ran up stairs and searched the rooms, only to go back down and hear him hissing as I raced down the steps, nearly stepping on the poor fat feline.

"Ohh, I'm sorry Sammy, are you okay?" I asked him, letting out a small laugh as he crept closer, his claws catching my pant leg. I picked him up and he cuddled into my neck and I carried him down the rest of the steps. He squirmed and I loosened my hold, allowing that feline to ungracefully land when I got to the main floor. I watched cautiously as he went to the living room. He stopped when he saw the giant bundle before continuing over to where her head was. He stared for a long while, sniffing and making weird faces as he did. Not exactly angry, or disgusted. He didn't hiss or show his dislike for her.

And then, suddenly, he just plopped right down beside her. An arm came out, scooping the real cat by it's middle and gently pulled it closer to her chest.

It was so cute, I couldn't help but take out my phone and get a picture. She had her chin resting against his head, and his purring made me smile, only for it to drop when I noticed that she was shivering. She whined pitifully when her new snuggle buddy untangled himself from her, and Sam got up, hopped onto the couch and did his best to tug the comforter off of it. I went over and picked it up, a loud hiss was my thanks. I draped that over her, ignoring the angry meows that came from him. Sammy was glaring at me before he glanced down at her, before staring back me, his glare somewhat gone. He nodded at me just before he got down.

Since when did he get smart? Or acknowledge me for that matter? Strange, but I still smiled as he got back down, snuggling up beside her. She licked the top of his head, which was the most I've seen her do so far, but it was short lived as she fell asleep not even a minute after. I went into the kitchen to get Sam his dinner. Which reminded me, where was she going to sleep? I couldn't just leave her down stairs like the other slaves I had owned. What if she needed me and I couldn't hear her?

I would bring a cage up from the basement and bring it to my room, that way I could keep an eye on her. Yeah, that's it. Is it?

I opened the drawer and grabbed the can opener, for obvious reasons. Once I got the lid off of it, I bent down to his bowl and plopped the squished salmon cat food into it. I called him, and he came running as usual. Or should I say waddle? He didn't tun very well, and when he did, he looked a rushing panguin. I went to throw the can away, and when I turned back around, he was halfway out the doorway, pushing the bowl into the living room.

He was being so strange today. I washed my hands under the faucet, and dried them on my shirt as I went to follow the cat. He pushed it by her head, just about an inch from her mouth before he hopped onto the couch behind her. His tail flicked a few times as he saw me, but didn't make a move at me.

That was until I came closer. He clawed at me when I tried to step over him, but the second step he actually managed to scratch me and I took in a sharp breath as I backed up a bit. He wasn't letting me anywhere near her.  I stared, and he stared back just as intensely until I got it. He would keep an eye on her. I had to bring the cage up anyway. Sighing in defeat, I left him to his first actual task.
