Words cannot describe how happy I was to wake up the next morning and find myself floating in the air above my bed.

In the initial surprise, I fell back down on my bed. But my bedding remained hovering over me like a magic carpet.

"MOM!" I yelled. "MOM, COME QUICK!"

I didn't dare move for fear the blankets would fall.

"Is everything all right, Izuku!" Mom came crashing through the door, a worried look on her face. When she saw the blankets hovering in midair, she paused, her mouth agape. "I-Izuku... Are you doing that?"

"YES!" I declared victoriously. "That's me! I'm doing magic!"

Mom stared at me in disbelief, but I could see the shadow of a smile spreading over her face.

"Mom," I said, crawling to the foot of the bed and allowing the blankets to fall down over me like a cape. "I'm not a squib anymore!"
