I changed a few things with the suggestion, I hope you don't mind.

Tord finally was able to persuade tom to join his army, oh! How he had wished this moment, now, that he was in his army he could do whatever he wanted to do with tom, either make him suffer, work or......... Or he could make him his own body guard! Oh just imagen how much suffering would that be for tom!!! Tord in general just wanted revenge, tom was the fucking reason to which why he has a robotic arm and a blind eye. And not just a simple revenge like a little punch or something, so much more than that. He wanted to make tom scared of him due to how much he had changed.
In the other hand, tom was ready to be a soldier, he was strong, skilled and a bit serious. But he didn't know what role he was going to be in, he didn't expect that tord, of all people would ask him to be his bodyguard, he was almost amazed.

Now the two of them fought, apologised and more, until tord was finally able to make tom, scared of him, so now tom was his bodyguard, who was forced to be by his side at all times.
But one day changed everything between them.

Tord's POV

I was doing paper work while my secretary, tom, made his way here and give me my schedule. Like every morning I start to sign paper after paper until I heard a knock.
