chapter 3

Alison’s POV

When Em and Aria walked away I stared at Emily. Spencer noticed and asked “What, do you have a crush on her or something?” I rolled my eyes and said “None of your business Spence.”

“So you do!” Hanna squealed “Oh My God.” I whispered to myself.

“This is so cute!” Spencer said. “What’s cute?” Aria asked curiously.

“Nothing.” I replied. Aria and Em gave me a weird look and sit down.

“Hey Spence and Aria, can I talk to you for a minute?” Hanna asked when she tried to look serious. The others nodded and walked away.

“What’s that about?” Emily asked me. “I don’t know.” I answered.

Third person’s POV

Hanna took the other girls to the corner of the courtyard. “We should hook them up!” she said.

“Wait what? Ali is straight right?” Aria asked.

“Nope, she just confessed that she has a crush on Em.” Hanna explained happily. “Cute!” Aria said excited. “Don’t you think they should handle this on their own?” Spencer asked. “I don’t know about you guys but I’m not going to come up to Emily and tell her Alison has a crush on her, or vice versa.” Aria told them.

“But we could give them hints or something right?” Hanna asked hopefully.

“I guess we could do that…” Spencer said and Aria agreed. “Yay!” Hanna said and they walked back to Ali and Em.

Emily’s POV

When the girls were away Ali and me didn’t really say anything. I was happy when they came back because it became a little awkward.

“What is it that we can’t know about?” I asked them.

“Nothing.” They all replied.

“So what did you guys talk about?” Hanna asked. “We ate, Hanna, we didn’t talk.” Alison replied. Damn, I love her voice. And her smile. And her… I stopped my thoughts when Alison clapped her hands in front of my face.

“Snap out of it!” she said smiling. “Sorry…” I muttered.

“What were you thinking about Em?” Hanna asked with a wicked grin. I glared at her and looked down at my hands.

“Well?” then the bell rang so I didn’t have to reply anymore. Saved by the bell! The next class was Math so it was really boring. Alison was sitting in front of me. I couldn’t stop staring at Alison. Hanna was sitting next to me and whispered; “You should just ask her out sometime Em” I looked at her like she was crazy and stared at Ali again. I tapped on her shoulder and told her to come over at 7 tonight. She smiled and nodded. “Happy now?” I asked Hanna and she smiled. Eventually the bell rang and we were done for the day. I said my goodbyes and went home. When I was at home I went up to my room and saw what a mess it was. I was going to have to clean that up before Alison came.
