Riptor

Riptor (picture above) was created by Ultratech as the ultimate bioengineered weapon. The body of a prehistoric reptile and the intelligence of a human... with a hint of primal instinct. Though it's uncertain what dinosaur's DNA was used, many often get eaten by Riptor before they worry about that. Riptor often finds herself in situations where her human reasoning and her ancient instinct clash when trying to decide what to do, though it often ends with one goal in mind; find her next meal.

When she was first introduced in Killer Instinct, she looked more like a beefed-up raptor with shackles on her hands and feet and an extra long tail. It wasn't sure back then if Riptor even had a gender till it was officially confirmed to be a female in 2013. Her colors in the first game occasionally changed from her normal orange color to a green color. She also had mostly physical moves, such as claw attacks and biting, plus a poison, possibly acidic, liquid. It's also suggested in the game that Riptor can reproduce asexually, lying many eggs in the middle of a tornament(I assume she wasn't fighting at the time). This eventually leads to apocalyptic results, as the eggs hatch and the babies run amuck like wild animals(no duh sherlock). Riptor doesn't appear in Killer Instinct 2 for, at the time, no reason. It's hinted in the 2013 Killer Instinct game that, upon defeating Riptor, one of the other playable characters says,"It's like it had a 20 year old grudge or something." This suggests that Riptor was put down before the events of Killer Instinct 2, and could explain Riptor's new cybernetic looks in the 2013 release.

Speaking of which, she was revived by Ultratech as a cybernetic version of herself. Now she fancies Plasma claws and a flamethrower breath. She still contains a human intellect, but she seems to be more out of control with her new found powers and her instincts.
