I was talking with Aimee's mother next to the kitchen island when a few guests started to leave. We stood up to say goodbye to them and before I could go back to my conversation, Jackson wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned towards me "Can I steal you for 20 minutes?"
I nodded and excused myself grabbing his hand. He pulled me across the room towards the outside area.
The sun was already setting so the view from the pool was amazing. The sky had may different warm colors mixing with the light blue tone
We went towards the rail and I suddenly felt nervous, what was he gonna do?
"Wow.. this view is amazing" I giggled leaning towards the fence to stare at the view over the trees
"So.. Haeju, today is Saturday" he started making me roll my eyes "And basically, what happens is.. I finished my song"
I nodded and he pulled out his phone. I could tell that he was nervous since his hands were shaking a lot. It was actually kind of adorable
"Jackson, calm down.. I know I'm going to love it.. I've been listening to it when I went to the studio" I chuckled grabbing his arm
"That's not what I'm nervous about" he chuckled pressing play
I looked at him "What do you mean?"

I looked down at the phone and licked my lips trying to contain the stupid smile I had in my face right now.. the entire time he did the lyrics in chinese so I wouldn't understand that he was making this song for me.. the entire time he was writing about me..

He looked back down and I smiled watching him grin like an embarrassed school boy

The song ended and started replaying so I took the phone from him to listen to it again "Wait.. let me hear it again"
I kept listening now a little more carefully and he hugged me from behind. I was waiting for my favorite part..

I giggled and turned my face to him "Agh.. I love this line.." I mumbled loudly feeling him squeeze my hip

He pulled away and turned me towards him "I like the next one better.." he chuckled "Hope one day the person I give my ring to is you"
My jaw fell down as I stared at him with wide eyes.. "Don't even joke about that Jia Er!" I replayed it immediately and tried to listen to it again. I finally was able to understand completely what he was saying since he was saying it so fast and it is comfirmed.. he does say that
I hugged him and hid my face in his chest while the song kept playing. His words danced in the air while we stood there still just holding eachother.. I was trying to calm myself down since I was so nervous so suddenly
"You can't just say these things and expect me to not have a mini heart attack" I mumbled hitting his chest
He cleared his throat and softly pulled his body away from mine picking my hand up. He reached down to his pocket and then opened his hand in front of us. There were two simple rings and immediately my brain shut off
"Before you freak out, let me just say that.. I am not asking you in marriage" he chuckled making a huge weight lift off of my shoulders "That's gonna be like... way more extravagant than just this" he chuckled making me finally break my gaze from his hand and into his eyes
"I was about to put my shoes to run away" I joked making him roll his eyes to my sarcastic comment
"These are.. they are just like our bracelets.. but way more important" he chuckled "meaning, these are our fresh start.. and a promise of a forever one day" he said taking a deep breath "Wow.. that was short.. I had a giant speech prepared"
I busted out laughing and looked up again at him
"So.. Haeju.. can you please please please.. believe and throw the dart?"
I busted out laughing once again at his corkiness and grabbed his head to pull it towards me for a deep kiss.
This is definetly the fresh start we both needed.
"Congrats Wang, you crossed the Amazon" I joked making him laugh once again
"Can you please stop making fun of me? Just once be serious in your life" he chuckled kissing me again
"Never, teasing you is my favorite hobbie" I said pulling back and giving him my hand so he could put the ring. I picked up his and looked inside seeing my real non-korean name engraved in it
"Which of your names you put?"
"Wang Jia Er" he answered while I put his ring on. He immediately picked me up off the floor and kissed me one last time "I am so so happy right now" he mumbled "Can I shout?"
"No jack-"
He shouted out loud and I busted out laugh pushing him away. Same old Jackson still.. this boy doesn't change
"I do not know who you are" I shout back walking away from him but he quickly ran towards me and threw me over his shoulder making me scream
He started running around the pool while I tried to free myself from him. I was so embarrassed that his family members were probably listening to everything and at the window looking
Soon enough, he put me down and I saw his mom and Aimee at the window with confused but happy expressions
"My mom likes you" he whispered as I waved at Aimee who started running as soon as Sophia opened the door
She jumped to Jackson and he picked her up making me smile for the millionth time in this beautiful fucking day.
