The pavement pounded below Josh's feet, he ignored the sounds of people and traffic around him. A crowd of people stood at the curb in the midst of that there was a news van. He slowed to a stop as someone called out his name from the crowd. The cluster of people turned towards him with a camera, lights flashing at him.

Blinking the dots away Josh got microphones stuck in his face.

"Josh, how do you feel about El?"

"Did you publish her journal for your own personal gain?"

"Those things she said about you in the journal, is that true?"

Josh felt his lungs stop moving, his head felt fuzzy and his legs wanted to give out. Questions upon questions piled on until the last person said their request. He didn't know where to start.

"I'm running, that's all I can do right now. I'm sorry I can't answer you guys' questions."

With that he turned around and walked the other way, going back home to wash the sweat off of his skin. He had no idea where he was going to go from there.
