Next morning as the sun rose, Charlie an Cas were getting ready to hit the road.

"The truck is loaded." Flapped Castiel, his deep voice warming the shady room. "We're ready to take off."

"Look, man, I just- I really wanted to thank you for what you did for me yesterday. I just- I thought I was gonna die and then you enter the room heroically, guns blazing-or- technically 'angel blade blazing' and save the day!
Feel free to stop me when you want to, it's just- I tend to blabber when I'm nervous. I- I really don't know why I'm nervous, it's just that-"

"Hey, hey!" Cas cut her off quickly gazing deeply into her soul.
"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you."

It's been a long time since Castiel descended from heaven.
He was able to attain a bundle of human emotions, but, what he felt at the moment was new.
A feeling he's never experienced before.
The tingling in his chest, the numb limbs; it was exotic.

As much as it scared him, he was enjoying it. It was irrelevant, but, following his gut, he was certain about the decency of this sensation.

Thirty minutes later, the two arrived at the bunker.

"Hola, Bitches!"

The two big piles of dingy flannel turned around in surprise.

"Hey, um, wow, Charlie. How are you? What a surprise." Stated Sam blankly while walking towards Charlie and burying her face in his chest.

"Ummm, hellooOooo?" Rhymed Charlie with her back bent to the side, waving her hand at Dean who was just standing there, mouth wide open in attempt to say something, but no sound actually coming out.

"Just- just come 'ere!" He giddied with a great smile on his face, wrapping his arms around his little sister tight enough to fracture a rib or two.

Cas just stood there, watching quietly, as the boys welcomed Charlie warmly and settled her in.
