In his long life, Castiel has seen plenty. He watched Adam bite the apple. He watched Noah build the arc. He had more vessels than your age in days.
But there is one thing Castiel has never experienced.

Love.

As they walked through the trees, the clean air hitting their bodies giving them goosebumps, which they were uncertain of what was actually causing them.
The breeze blew the brown, autumn leaves across the path.

They've automatically come to a stop, not really sure why, they both turn around with a sharp gaze.
Castiel was indeed overwhelmed by the beauty of Charlie's eyes.
It was incomprehensible to him how one organ of a tiny creature can hold the whole universe I them.

The moment their hands touched, a strong shiver was sent through his spine.

Suddenly,
It was all gone.

Cas is now wide awake, the sound of the emergency sirens piercing through his ear drums.

"Rise and shine, squad! It's time for some action." Yelled Dean.

As they all meet at a midpoint, Charlie was already panicking.

"Wh-what's happening? Is this like an everyday thing, you guys? Like, are you used to this? Is it a drill?"

"Charlie, calm down!" Dean preached. "Everything's fine, alright?"

She swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded obediently.

"Uh- guys?" Cas called, looking around suspiciously. "Where's Sam?"

The door slams open. In walks Adriel with his arm clenched around Sam's throat.

"Hello, Charlie. Castiel."

Dean automatically pulls out his gun, as if a string tied around his wrist was pulled. "Today is not your day, you son of a bitch!"

"Oh, Dean. C'mon. That's my mother you're talking about." Adriel pouted sarcastically.

"Let him go!" Charlie demanded, terror feeding on her voice.
"He's not the one you want. Let him go. Take me."

Dean's head quickly shifted towards his little sister. "Charlie, what the hell are you doing."

"It okay." She whispered. "Just follow my lead."

Two of Adriel's minions proceed towards Charlie, wrapping their arms around hers and marching towards the exit on command.

As soon as Adriel lets Sam go, he releases a great gasp trying to take in as much air as he can.

"Adios, amigos!"
