"Now get out of my sight." I say. The thief stands up and runs away. When he was gone, I turned back to the old woman and she was still terrified. I picked up her purse that the thief dropped, and walked up to her saying, "Ma'am this is yours, correct?" I hold it out to her. "Stay away from me!" She screams. I looked at her and back away. Starting to approach her again I try to speak once more, "Ma'am I-" "NO! Get away! You broke that man's arm with one twist!" The old woman screams.
Ariel : I'm sorry ma'am-
Old woman : NO! DONT TOUCH ME! *Slaps Ariel's hand away*
Ariel : Ma'am, I didn't mean to-
Old woman : YOU'RE A MONSTER!
I stop my attempt to communicate. She then snatches her purse out of my hand and runs away. I just... Stand there watching her run away. Everything suddenly goes blurry... And I realize... I am having a flashback.
(Flashback)
Ariel at 10 Years Old : *Hands a picture that Ariel drew, to her mother* Look, Mama!
Ariel's Mother : That's so great sweetheart! *Holds picture in hands*
Ariel at 10 Years Old : *Points at the picture* That's me, that's you, and that's papa.
Ariel's Mother : I love it!
Ariel at 10 Years Old : Mama, are we going to stay a happy family forever?
Ariel's Mother : Of course sweetheart. Yes we are!

*Dark in the house and everything is broken*
Ariel at 10 Years Old : *Cries in a corner of a kitchen, holding a knife* Mama, why did you hurt papa?...
Ariel's Mother : Sweetheart... I had to punish papa...*Standing, not facing Ariel with a knife in her hand and blood everywhere*
Ariel at 10 Years Old : Mama, but why? Why did you do this? *Still cries*
Ariel's Mother : Papa didn't love us Ariel...
Ariel at 10 Years Old : Mama please...
Ariel's Mother : PAPA NEVER LOVED US ARIEL! HE BETRAYED US!
Ariel at 10 Years Old : Mama please, what are you talking about?
Ariel's Mother : Do you love papa, Sweetheart?
Ariel at 10 Years Old : Yes... I love him very much... *Cries*
Ariel's Mother : You don't love me... YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE, ARIEL!
Ariel's Mother : YOU DON'T LOVE ME! I'm sorry Ariel, but you love papa... and I'm afraid I have to punish you too... Just like papa. *Scarily says with a creepy smile*
"AAAAGH!" She thrusts towards me with the knife in her hand while screaming. I shut my eyes and hold out the knife I had in front of me. She was still screaming, "AAAAAGH!-" then suddenly she stopped, "-Uh!" I felt a big force on the knife I was holding. I opened my eyes then saw Mama's face wide eyed looking at me, blood coming out of her mouth.
Ariel's Mother : You stabbed me Ariel, *She whispers* I thought you loved your dear mama... But no, you don't....
*She slides out of the knife and falls to the ground*
Ariel's Mother : You're really just a monster. *Lays on the ground laughing*
Even when she's dying, she's laughing. Then something snapped inside of me. "Mama... Doesn't love me? And papa doesn't either?" I whisper to myself. I start to get up and hover over Mama and she notices me, "Come on Ariel... Mama didn't love you. I know you want to kill me Ariel!-" "-Go on do it Ariel!-" "-Do it!" "STOP!" I scream at mama. Then I began to stab her multiple times. While I was doing that, I show zero emotion on my face. That snap inside of me was what made me like this... Just like mama.
(End Of Flashback)
I look into the dark sky of that alley way.
Why... Why was I born this way? a Monster.
