Chapter 8 : I Will See To It That My Ship Sails

    "Because I gave you no chance to say no. Well, I told my son to." I look at the older version of Asahi and I try my hardest not to think about how a person can look this much like their father. "Hey dad!" Asahi hugs his dad and his dad kisses Asahi on his forehead... I ship it. Asahi's dad is not that bad looking. He has no wrinkles on his face he just has a slight more handsome manlier outline to his face rather then Asahi has. Asahi looks more like a handsome puppy. If you, what you call, catch my drift, then I am sure there is nothing to miss calculate. Asahi's dad looks at me and then says, "She looks different in person. Say Asahi, do you remember when I asked you to bring this girl to me?" Asahi's dad, which I can now call Ashikaga, turned back to Asahi. "Yes I did, dad." Mister Ashikaga looks back at me and then says "Well, I actually want you to kill her now. She looks weak for my tasting." Asahi looks at his dad in an angry way "What! Dad! She's actually really strong!" Asahi's words drift off as I remember what Mister Ashikaga said.

"Remember when I asked you to bring this girl to me?" If that's what Mister Ashikaga said... "My father ordered me to assassinate you." and that's what Asahi said... "Remember when I asked you to bring this girl to me?" "Yes I did. Dad" then that means... Asahi is a liar.

As I think that, I take out a journal that I use to write about people in and title on a new page, Asahi. Under his name I write, A assassin. His full name is Ashikaga Asahi and his age is 17. He has white hair with green eyes. He is very tall and lies. His dad is Mister Ashikaga a Boss to a well known Assassination Association that every Assassin knows, that is a secret under ground base under his Company building "Ashikaga Tower" interesting... After I write that, I put my journal away and walk up to a fighting son and father. "Perhaps, I can prove I am worthy to work in this Association." Mister Ashikaga turns to me with a rather misleading, excited, creepy expression. Then he starts to walk up to me. As he's walking I glance behind him and see Asahi giving me the 'watch yourself' signal. It was rather a warning more than a signal. Mister Ashikaga is now fully standing over me. Well, he is Massively tall. "Did you say... you wanted to prove you were worthy?" He says to me in a eager yet creepy excited tone. "Indeed." I reply. "Then I know exactly how you can do that! The real question is... can you succeed? Or are you going to die like the rest?" Hmm... like the rest? There must have been people before me that had to do this, but telling from what Mister Ashikaga said... none has ever came back alive or survived while doing it. "I will do whatever task you give me." I say. He looks at me delighted now. "Alright! All you need to do is... Travel to my Rivals house and... Assassinate his daughter!" Behind Mister Ashikaga I look at Asahi giving me the 'I told you to watch yourself, now your stuck doing this' look. I turn back to Mister Ashikaga, "I will get it done in 3 days. Starting today and ending on the third." Mister Ashikaga looked pleased with my answer and also surprised to when I said I will get it done in 3 days.
"It's settled then, your starting today. Come Come. Let me show you where you need to go to." Mister Ashikaga Walked into a technology room. There were lots of computers in there. He stopped next to a really big screen with a long computer keyboard underneath. He pressed a button on the keyboard and the computer showed a massively big sized hologram map of the world. He touched the hologram and slid it to our country, Japan. He zoomed in on Japan and went to a point on the map that we were located. "This is where we are Ariel." He slides the map from the entrance of Ashikaga Tower left to another big company, which I seen before. Sojiru Corporate was the building he zoomed in on. "This is Sojiru Shaito's company. He is very wealthy like I am myself... The problem is... He is a bit too wealthy. In other words-" "He is more wealthy and powerful than you, I am correct. Am I not?" I say bluntly, with the most simple face occured possible. "Yes you are correct Ariel. Now you know why he is my enemy and he also has something that once belonged to me." He then exits the map and opens another hologram that shows a very beautiful shiney looking diamond. "This is Called the Yūdaina Daiyamondo it was passed down in my family from generation to generation. This Diamond holds great power. Power that can end this entire world. Well, because it's a source from the actual planet Uranus" Mister Ashikaga says. "I now see why you are an assassin." I say another blunt time. "E- Excuse me? What do you mean?" He asks me in confusion. "You will soon figure it out, besides... You act just like your son." Mister Ashikaga sweat drops then goes to a different hologram that has a mansion on it. "This is where him and his Daughter live. Now be warned... His daughter is not an Elizabeth character. If you know what I mean. She is more of a... How do I say this... Hisoka character. So if you meet her, she might be dressed in very revealing clothes." I nod at that remark. "She also takes a liking to anything. Especially kids... Little girls for that matter." something tells me this is going to be not that complicated. He closes all holograms and exits the technology room, I follow after. "That's all you need to know Ariel! Say by the way, your really really short. How old are you anyway?" Mister Ashikaga asks me. "Yeah how old are you Ariel?" I look at both Asahi and Mister Ashikaga and simply say, "Well isn't it obvious? I am obviously 13." Asahi and Mister Ashikaga's souls seemed to have left their bodies. "N-Now I know why you called me... A pedophile." Asahi wearily exclaims. "Is there something shocking about my age?" I ask the two of them. They just stand there with that same shocked expression. I start to walk out of the underground facility into the elevator. "W-Wait! Hold up Ariel!" Asahi begins to run but gets stopped by his father. "Asahi..." Mister Ashikaga says in a dark tone. Asahi turns around to face his father. "Y-Yes?" He says shakily. "I'm going to miss you so much!!!😭 I knew you would go with her!!!😭Promise me you won't die!?!😭 I'm so proud of you my baby boy!!! I love you so much!!!" Mister Ashikaga kisses Asahi and hugs him multiple times. It seems Asahi's father is more motherly than fatherly. "OK dad! Just stop hugging me t-tightly! You're... Killing me!" Mister Ashikaga lets go and watches his son leave sadly. Me and Asahi wave to Mister Ashikaga goodbye while the elevator door was closing. I didn't notice this until now but... There were lots of people passing by and staring at us, further more, Asahi and his father.

"I will see to it that my ship sails." I say.
