"Now, I know what you're thinking. 'Why is the place empty?'" I must say, the intelligence that Mister Ashikaga has is quite a great amount. Almost like mine. Mister Ashikaga walks towards one of the white walls in the empty room and a door suddenly opens from that wall. He walks inside, and all of us look up to see a large window, with a control room appear, that Mister Ashikaga was inside of. He presses a button and starts speaking through a microphone that echoed throughout the whole room. "Where I am right now is where all the magic happens!" Mister Ashikaga announces, while he points to a button, "This baby right here can let out any fighting machine I want. All I have to do is press it and type in what enemy I want you guys to fight against." He then presses the button and the white walls open up and reveal big foot sized robots with guns and swords. Well this is far more advanced then what Kuno and Soléne were practicing in. The robots started to charge at us and we quickly scattered to get away from them. "I'll tell you guys the rest of what these buttons do, once you destroy all these robots!" Mister Ashikaga's booming voice says with hyper energy.
A robot came charging at me and Asahi, we both jumped opposite ways to dodge it. "Dammit! I should've known my dad was going to do something like this! Then I would've brought my knives!" Asahi says angrily as we avoid the nonsensing killing machines. Your most likely wondering why we don't just fight back instead of avoiding them. If I remember correctly, me and Asahi didn't bring our weapons when we first came to the underground facility today. Also, I am unsure if Asahi can do hand to hand combat, and I left my guns at home. There really was only one option for us, avoiding. On another note, the only people that had their weapons were Soléne and Kuno. But they looked as if they were struggling on fighting the killer instinct robots. I know for a fact that I could easily execute all these machines, but something tells me that I should show my true strength to Mister Ashikaga, Kuno and Soléne when the time is right. Six hours later--yes, I indeed said 'six hours'--I and the rest had finally destroyed most of the robots. Well, Soléne and Kuno mostly did the work... They did all the work, because me and Asahi didn't have our weapons. I mentioned that before I'm sure.
"Wow! I thought you guys would get this done in at least three hours, but you did it in six! Well, at least you finished the job, partially." Mister Ashikaga says with enthusiasm. I looked around to see Soléne on the floor and Asahi and Kuno laying on each other back to back, all breathing heavily. Oh my... my ship is sailing indeed. "Awww, c'mon guys! Tired already? You haven't even done anything! You can't be tired if you want to be a good assassin." Mister Ashikaga scolds. Mister Ashikaga then turns to face me, his expression on his face changes to that of a clueless puppy, then he smiles, assuming he thought of what he wanted. "Ariel! Since you're not out of breath, I got a little something for you." Mister Ashikaga turns back to Soléne, Kuno, and Asahi while smiling brightly. "Do you see this guys?" He points at me, "She's not letting out a single exhausted breath, and she did the same thing as you... Kind of. Asahi!" Mister Ashikaga laughs, as his son just simply glares at him. "Since Ariel is the only one who did this, she's going to be the leader of this assassination group for now on... Until I say you guys can work as individual assassins again."
Soléne : Yay!
Kuno : ......
Asahi : Oh c'mon!💢
"Pardon me Mister Ashikaga, but did you really say that?" I ask in confusion as Mister Ashikaga looks at me with a even bigger smile than before, "That's right Ariel, you are the leader. I doubt you wont lead them well." I stare at Mister Ashikaga's face to see if he's bluffing, but every feature on him says 'Serious'. Not in literal speech I presume.
LEAVING THE FACILITY LATER :
"Ugh! I swear you're my dads favorite!" Asahi whines, not at all ashamed at his jealousy for not being leader. "I assure you Asahi, I'm not too big on this role your father has given me either." Asahi looks at me with a frown, "How come you didn't tell him that, then? I could've been leading things up right now!" I stop walking, for I know that I am almost to my living place... But why is Asahi with me? "Asahi, Why are you following me to my house?" I ask, looking at him. He stops walking as well, and he stares at me back with a confused expression. "Wait... You're walking to you're house? I kinda forgot you had that. Huh." Must I say, Asahi really enjoys getting on my nerves, now does he. "Asahi, you spent a day or more or less at my house and you tell me you don't remember? How pitiful. I can see why Mister Ashikaga chose me as leader, now." "Why are you always picking on me! I did nothing!" Asahi yells with embarrassment. I sigh and continue to walk towards my home. "Asahi. Please go home. We have a busy day tomorrow. Mister Ashikaga said for us to wake up bright and early for school, and for us to come to training right after words." I say behind me as I continue to walk the same sidewalk I have been walking. "Okay fine... I'll see you later Ariel." I hear Asahi say, before I also hear his footsteps walk away.
Well isn't he just a hand full... I think to myself. "Oh! a cute little girl, aye?" I turn my head to see a old man with a grin on his face and a beer bottle in his hand, obviously drunk. "How's about me and you go back to my place and have some fun, yah?" I give him a blank stare and reply with, "No thank you, I have no interest in sexual activities with older people or sexual activities in general. Especially since I'm only oh so young." The drunk fool didn't seem to be happy with my answer, because he decided to get violent with the beer bottle. He breaks the end of the beer bottle on the pavement and tries to stab me. But I am far too quick for the hooligan, and I dodged his move. Including all his other stab attempts as well. He eventually got tired of failing at spatting blood from my body and collapsed to the ground in a heep. I shake my head in disappointment for the old man's choices. "Why drink beer and get drunk, when you can just read homosexual romances to fill your lonely heart?" I ask this question quite a lot now in days. All the man did was groan at my words, as he stood laying there. I begin to walk again, going slower than ever just to get to mi casa.
It wasn't long until I actually got there, and it wasn't long before I noticed someone following me... And it wasn't Asahi.
