On May 5, I think, the first episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard V came out. Honestly, no one expected it to end and then get a reboot immediately, but nobody can expect anything with this series anymore. I'm had a lot of mix feelings about this at first, but now I'm a little excited to see where this goes. I still wish they could of just let it finally end after nine seasons or just give it an entirely different generation of characters, but this is okay and it's based on the manga instead.
The only things I want from the reboot are more screen time for Kai, more speaking lines for him too, and more recognition for the franchise and maybe other bushiroad shows and games.
Besides from that I think this is pretty good so far. The animation is better than it was in NEXT and Z, and the music is great as always. The opening was sung by Roselia from Band Dream. Most importantly Morikawa actually beats Aichi up in the first episode and Miwa gets mad about Kai taking his card too.
I have high hopes for this reboot and if they mess up anything important I will stop watching it like I used to.
