Author's Note:

I have never done this, but I wish to dedicate this chapter to @XxNightDragonxX because her undying love for my little story delights me so much.

She comments on everything to keep me from my sleep. I think she does this purposely, but I enjoy it nonetheless. I hope you enjoy this chapter, darling. Do not forget how wonderful you are.

Now back to our story...

"Please, end me. That instructor will purposely torture me in physical training until my heart gives out," Muirgheal collapsed dramatically onto the floor once she crawled into Loki's room.

"You are so overly theatrical sometimes, flower. It would not have been so painstakingly vigorous if you had bothered to show up on time. He could have made today much more of a hassle for the both of us or you could be training with the descendants of the Valkyrie," Loki gathered her limp body off of the floor and laid her down on the sheetless bed.

"You are no fun," Muirgheal stuck her tongue out playfully, "You are boring and bland and I do not like you one bit."

Loki knitted his eyebrows together, but then a mischievous smile broke out across his smooth face as he walked up to Muirgheal. He slipped a hand on the outside of her thigh, teasing her, and hungrily whispered, "Really? I do not recall you saying such a thing. All I have ever heard is you whisper my name out in your sleep begging for me to pleasure you until your limbs cannot carry you. If only I had permission to do so..." Loki traced random swirls towards her inner thigh. Muirgheal's entire body writhed in lust, "I have never said anything of the sort. You are just trying to get me all riled up as usual. I'm still pure of heart and body."

"Would you like me to remove that title?" Loki breathed down her neck. She pulled his hand away and stood up, dizzy from her racing thoughts.

"And you say I'm a tease?" Muirgheal folded her arms in defense.

"You know I am no threat to your sanctity, flower. I would never do anything unless you commanded me to do so. If you ever felt like I would bring you any harm, I'd hate myself."

She smiled weakly as she embraced her sweet raven, "I know and I love you for that, just don't ever change, okay?"

They stood there in their embrace, wanting nothing more than to absorb the undying love between their souls. This embrace was disrupted when a knocking sound came from the door. The raven unwillingly pulled away from his flower to answer it.

"My prince, would the Lady happen to be here? The Allfather has requested her presence in the throne room."

"Of course, I'll send her there right away."

The servant bowed slightly and walked away to tend to other tasks. Muirgheal pondered the reasons as to why the Allfather would need to speak with her— unless he found out that she had not been sleeping in her own bed. Please just get onto me for my tardiness. "Well, you heard her, go on."

"Why do you think he wants to meet with me so unexpectedly?"

"You shall never know if you stand there trying to think of all the insurmountable possibilities, so go and discover why for yourself."

"Will you be waiting for me, raven?"

"I have to see my mother, flower, as I usually do. You will just have to be on your best— " Muirgheal sweetly kissed Loki's lips and pulled away, "All you have to say is 'always' and I leave so much quicker."

She began to walk towards her exit when Loki reached for her hand and gave her a twirl. He drew her close, one hand securing her neck and the other around her waist. He lovingly smiled at her and spoke in a hushed tone, "Always, flower." He drew her lips to his once again, both of their bodies drowning in the heat pulsing between their bodies. Muirgheal pulled her raven deeper and deeper into the kiss.

Loki instinctively pulled away as to allow both of their lungs to fill back up with precious air, "I love you, raven."

"You will never be able to love me as much as I love you, flower."

"Is that a challenge?"

They jokingly split apart and went their separate ways. The raven's heart felt dry as his flower turned away with the sun. The flower shriveled at the chilling absence of her raven.

Narrator:

Now, darlings, love is a peculiar thing, is it not? Science cannot explain the magnetic attraction between two souls because it is so magical. Science does not believe in magic; rather, it calls magic by another name, illusion. Is love just an illusion? No, my darlings, love is brilliant. To have happiness in its physical form is a miracle. To feel as if one has lost a part of themselves is incredulous. This is all so unbelievable. They say love conquers all. Who is they you might ask? I do not have the slightest idea, but they do seem to be correct so far. The raven and the flower have become so close that even a small distance is a pain that is indescribable. Let us hope that as our story continues, this love can truly conquer all...
