I didn't think it was possible for us to get closer...
But we did.
We called more often
Texted more often
And you occasionally put your arm around me, sometimes playing with my fingers
I took these little things lightly
as well... I couldn't just make assumptions out of whatever you did
You usually got off at a few stops earlier but for a while now you started just staying with me until we arrived at the bus station.
Then while we were waiting for our stop you said something, I don't remember what to be honest
It's probably because you just put your arms around me and hugged me
No biggie?

I don't know, but what I do remember was as soon as I got home I freaked out
I couldn't function but because you hugged me I just couldn't stop yearning for more.
Then the next day while we hung out in the morning I put my arms around you
thank god you hugged me back
We stayed there like that, you and I with our arms around each other
Honestly you gave the best hugs, maybe that's why I wanted them so much?
There wasn't a moment after that that I didn't want to spend not hugging you
But from what I heard, hugs were nothing these days? They were passed around like germs or whatever..
Idk if you understand me?
Like hugs mean nothing to people and they're just something that friends do
But we didn't just hug and let go
We always stayed
and I guess that's what I loved
