Resting her chin on railing of her balcony of her room, she wrapped her hands around her legs and sat herself over a stool and started to admire the busy roads of city. The roads of Chennai was as usual like other days, peoples was going to their homes from their workplaces, small kids were going to park with their mothers, the old ladies were stood on their doors and chatting with their neighbours, everyone was busy in their own world. She looked inside her home and found the situation was also same there. Her Appa is back from work and narrating his entire day to her mother. She looked at opposite flat of their building, it was flat now, no more a home now. the peoples who was full of lives, who used to entertain whole society with their chirpiness was not here and she was missing them badly, "kahan ho tum? jab vaada todna hi that toh kiya kyon?" She was lost in his thoughts when her amma called her, "Ishu. Come kanna. Tumhare French fries ready hai. Aakar khaa lo"

She wore her slippers and sat near her father after greeting him soon her mother joined them and they started to enjoy there evening tea along normal chitchat. Although she was answering her father but her mind was engaged in something else, after taking a long breath she asked her father, "Appa Bhalla uncle ke baare mein kuch pata chala? Ab kahan hai woh log?"

"No Ishita. Hum logo be try kiya that but kuch pata nahi chala. Beete dino itna kuch achaanak ho gaya na ki ab samajh mein hi bahi aa raha hai ki kya kare but I have faith on god, woh log theek hi honge"

"Haan kanna, tumhaare appa sahi keh rahe hai, Jo hua usko hum badal toh nahi sakte bas pray hi kar sakte hai. tum tension mat lo, jaakar padhaai kar lo"

Ishita helplessly nodded her head in positive  and  csme back in her room. She bolted her room's door and went towards book shelf and took out the photo hidden in between the books. Settling herself over bed  she pressed the photo near her heart, it was his last thing which she have, "I miss you Raman... please please phone us Raman. I want to know about your well being. Kaash woh din humaare life mein nahi aata toh aaj sab kuch alag hota" she kissed his phota and recalled that day

Aye Ajnabi Tu Bhi Kabhi Aawaaz De Kahin Se
Aye Ajnabi Tu Bhi Kabhi Aawaaz De Kahin Se
Main Yahan Tukdon Mein Jee Raha Hoon
Tu Kahin Tukdone Mein Jeen Rahi Hai

Raman and Ishita both were childhood friends. They shared their toys and games with each other. The 12 years of schools bring them more close. Raman was always protective for her. He used to take care her during their lunch break, while playing and going tutions. Slowly the time passed and both started to grown up. where Raman got the sharp features, fair tonned body and a good height, Ishita got beautiful features of a girl, big black eyes, slim body, fair tonned skin her black silky hairs can made anyone's knees weak.
