On Summer days
I wonderand ask
for the clouds.
I stand and wish
for the rain
to come downfrom its high
to dry my body
with its
wetnessI imagine drops
of rain
slowly and sensually
kissing my skinmy body burning
with everydrop of rain igniting
my body with flamesno sun
can give me the heat
that the rain canlike a downpour of sorrows
finally being releasedafter years of silence
I feel every
single
cry
laugh
lover
in one drop of rain
and that one,
that single rain droprevives the blackened
soulthat only the sun could burn
