i sat up from my bed, and rolled my eyes. i hated having flashbacks and feeling the same pain i felt when it first happened.
everytime i would go to sleep, flashbacks would occur. and it was the things that i wanted to forget.
lately i've been having dreams about glizzy. this started happening when we started speaking again. random flashbacks would occur at random times.

"kenzie let me see your phone." kim said, and looked at me.
"why?" i asked, and pulled it out. i looked at my notifications.
ybnglizzy just posted a photo.
"don't mind him." she said, and snatched my phone quickly.
"why you acting so suspicious?" i asked, and furrowed my eyebrows.
"i'm not." she said, and put my phone in her pocket.
"nigga, give me my phone." i said, trying to snatch it from her pocket.
"trust me, you don't want it." she said.
"obviously i do if i'm asking for it." i said, and finally got my phone out her pocket.
i clicked on the notification, and looked at the picture glizzy posted.

i don't know why, but i felt a sudden pain in my chest.
"that's tough." i said, and turned my phone off.
"kenzie, are you oka—
"it's whatever mane." i said bluntly, and rolled my eyes. "if he's happy, then i'm happy."
"stop lyin—
"i'm not lying." i said. "i wish them the best." i continued.
