Dearest readers, please note that my editor is not feeling well this week and was unable to go over this chapter for me. Forgive my errors. I know they're there. 🤪
He had no intention of even trying to catch him. Kong stayed ten steps behind and watched the beautiful view.
There didn't seem to be anyone around. It looked like they had the whole place to themselves.
Both sides of the bright fuschia-pink underwear had crept up Arthit's rear. It gave him a wedgie that was impossible for Kongpop to take his eyes from. Kong was making long strides and keeping in time with Arthit's.
Arthit was moving fast but still taking the time to skip every now and again. When he looked back and saw Kong chasing, he moved even faster.
Arthit turned sharply at the end of a bamboo grove and Kong's view was gone.
He put a burst of speed in his gate and rounded the corner himself. Arthit wasn't there but the wide banded underwear was hanging from a branch and they smacked him in the face.
Kong stopped and pulled them down. Kinky... He pushed them over his nose. He smelled them.
He was cranking his head and trying to listen.
What he heard were a giggle and a great splash.
...
The cruisers had been specially made and painted the same. It was the Bicycle shop's first-ever request for matching male bikes. They were paid handsomely and ultimately manufactured beautifully designed and hand-crafted, twin, touring cycles.
Kong's came down first, then, it was easy to get Arthit's detached from the apparatus they were secured to.
Arthit had already tried for twenty minutes to undo the bolts. He scraped his wrist and crunched his knuckle. "I give up Kongpop. I have no idea how you got these on here. Let's just walk!"
That's what Kong heard. He was inside boiling water for tea. "My reluctant engineer."
All Arthit really needed was for Kong to kiss it and make it better. The nice little hug Kong gave him made him forget all about it.
"You get the tea ready P' and put it in the thermos, I'll get the bikes down.
Today's excursion was all laid out and mapped perfectly. Kong had no intention of scaring Arthit with the likelihood of getting lost, and he was steering clear of wild animals by no less than the length of a football field.
