it was still scary that the casino crew continued to live in inkwell, but an agreement was made that they could stay as long as they did no wrong except in the casino and in hell, them agreeing without complaint
"no, that is too much everyone," said elder kettle as he came into the crowd, looking at the shaking boys with soft but disappointed eyes
"They are my boys and my responsibility, so I shall decide" he continued
it took several minutes until he said
"they shall work with pork rind until I believe they have learnt their lesson and return all your belongings," he said finally
there were murmurs of disagreement, but they agreed and left so they could look presentable again
" working with pork rind can't be that bad...right?" asked mugman
