hilda's cloud was going 100 miles per hour and yet the others were still running
"why can't they just give up!" Cagney shouted over hilda's shoulder
"Cagney, I can't keep this up" Hilda panted
although it was a magic cloud it was hilda's magic making it run and in her new state she didn't have enough energy
"hey guys," said spectre as he flew next to them
"SPECTRE!?" shouted Hilda in surprise
"yeah, so what game are we playing," spectre asked as he landed on the cloud
at once the spirit seemed to have put more energy in the cloud and gave Hilda time to recharge
"Thanks, spec.."Hilda was going to say before Cagney came out shouting
"THIS ISN'T A GAME, WE ARE RUNNING FOR OUR LIVES"
"uh, actually were fly-" spectre was going to comment when seeing cagney's death killing stare, making him shut up on the spot
"where's dice and Werner? I'd thought they would be with us" Hilda asked looking behind her, only then did she see the massive crowd chasing them and dice on cupheads shoulders and Werner in his arm
"So what's the plan," spectre asked with excitement
"I say we..." Hilda was going to say before her cloud slingshotted into the crowd and back
"WHAT'S GOING ON!" shouted Cagney
the cloud seemed to have been pulled back by a magical source

Hilda and Cagney crashed into one of the shops (luckily it was the pillow factory) and landed on two massive pillows
while spectre phased through the walls and crashed into a miss chalices arms once again
spectre looked up at the female ghost and she did not look happy
"uhh...anyone else getting a sense of deja vu?" the little ghost said sheepishly
Cagney and Hilda were out cold due to the impact so beppi and Baroness von bonbon got their limp bodies and started walking out of the shop, apologizing for the disturbance (actually beppi was laughing his head off)
"well...let's get back before they wake up," cuphead said with a sheepish grin smile
the others were not happy, but they still recovered the equipment they had bought/lost during the chase
"smooth" dice said sarcastically to the spectre
"hey, at least I tried to escape," spectre said accusingly to both children
they were going to make a rude comment, but when realizing in their current situation they just stayed silent
(I wonder if mugman had as much trouble as we did?)cuphead thought and letting out a massive sigh as he and his "teammates" walked to his home
