EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Toni Topaz and Hayden West. Those names were heard side-by-side frequently around the halls of Southside High. Toni Topaz and Hayden West had been best friends since kindergarten when Hayden was getting bullied by some girls and Toni stepped in and punched the leader, making all her six year old minions run away screaming. From that day forward, they were a duo that everyone knew not to mess with.
At the start of the summer that would eventually hold Jason Blossom's demise, Toni and Hayden attended a party where they both consumed large amounts of alcohol. They got extremely drunk and ended up back at Hayden's house where they hooked up. The next morning, they both awoke to find their clothes scattered around the room and the thin sheets being the only things covering their bodies. The memories of the night before made them decide to become friends with benefits. The only rule, of course, is to not fall in love. Toni inevitably broke that rule and the week before school started, she revealed her feelings to Hayden who proceeded to tell her that she wasn't gay and that she was just having sex with Toni because it was fun, not because she had feelings for the girl.
Once school starts, Hayden returns to Southside High with a new boyfriend and a heartbroken ex-best friend. Everyone knows that the only rule with friends with benefits is to not fall in love. Toni broke that rule and unbeknownst to Toni, so did Hayden.
NOTES:
— this is set during season 1 & 2 but on the southside of town
— so during the summer before season 1, toni and hayden end up hooking up at a party and they wake up together the next morning. they start to be friends with benefits basically but toni starts to catch feelings & so does hayden but hayden is basically denying her sexuality which is bisexual
— on the last day of summer, toni tells hayden that she likes her as way more than a friend and it doesn't end well
— once school starts, hayden starts dating a guy just to try to get over her feelings for toni bc like i said before she is very in denial about her sexuality
— you can decide who she starts dating or just create a character for her to date
— they have a lot of sexual tension during season 1
— they are NOT at all associated with the northside in season 1 so if you write this, you have to make up most of season 1 but you can still mention stuff that happened in season 1
— just like toni, hayden is a southside serpent & i picture her being besties with sweet pea & him teasing her about her obvious feelings for toni which she gets pissed at him about which just confirms her feelings
