Darin woke covered in sweat, his breaths heavy and uneven. He frantically looked around the room, looking for his P.O. She was nowhere to be seen.

A dream. It was only a bad dream.

He quickly scrambled out of bed and made his way downstairs to the fireplace. Stone and dust and rubble was still piled on the floor from when Darin had smashed in the wall. His mother's remains were still missing. But did he really see his dead mother? Had she really possessed him? He didn't feel any different. Darin went out back to the tool shed. It was unlocked, he went inside and saw all the tools were where they should be. They hadn't been touched. It was just a dream. His mother hadn't come back from the dead.

He breathed a sigh of relief and chuckled nervously to himself.

This has to stop. I'm not in danger. Neither is Claire or Tyler. My mother is dead and gone. And I won't let her come back..
