Severus knew that Harry could not be left unsupervised as he had classes to teach. The whole of Slytherin had resumed classes the day after Harry had come out of the crack. They had spent that whole day sealing every nook and cranny in their domain and taking turns cuddling the child. A few of the girls expertly made small Slytherin uniforms and other house themed clothing for the boy.
Harry was wearing the uniform with the cute beenie that covered all of his head and was clutching a stuffed snake while he sat on a seventh year's lap in the Great Hall. Jack Harkness, if Severus recalled correctly, was surrounded by the other seventh years as they helped to create the safest place for their little snake.
"Severus, who is that? You know that only students and or faculty children are allowed to remain here." Great, if it wasn't Albus and his attempts to control the school. He knew that the Headmaster was oblivious to Severus being married to the Malfoys and the fact that he was not a Snape. He also thanked the wisdom of his mother, Martha, that they do the blood adoption before breakfast. He simply let himself lie to the true Dark Lord. A second year Slytherin was ease dropping so he made sure that the the news he would impart to the Headmaster was passed to all of Slytherin.
"Headmaster, that is my son. His biological mother ran away with him when he was born. He was found a few days ago, almost dead at the boundaries of Glasgow. The Ministry informed me of his existence. My son's name is..." A yell from the Gryffindor table cut him off.
"SNAPE HAS A SON?!" Ah yes, two thirds of the golden trio were snooping once again. The chaos that broke through the Great Hall was silenced as the Slytherins glared the Gryffs and Claws down. Surprisingly, the Badgers sides with the Snakes on this. The Hufflepuffs started to coo even more than they had been doing before hand, some of them coming over to speak with their Slytherin friends, Martha Jones and Mickey Smith being a few. Minerva smiled at Severus.
"He's very cute. How old is he? What is his name?" Severus resisted the urge to groan as Minny and Sprout started to drill him about his son.
"I assume he somewhere between the ages of three to seven. No, I was not married to his mother. His name is..." He was interrupted by a first year Slytherin coming to his rescue. She had slipped around the table and had tugged on his robes to get his attention. She had crocodile tears as she whispered to him. He stiffened before stood. "If you'll excuse me, I need to take Miss Potts to the infirmary."
He swept out of the hall with the student following. The mysterious boy remained on Jack Harkness' lap, giggling as a third year told a story about a funny man in a big blue box that saved the day.
~~~~Slytherin Rules~~~~
Severus sighed as Harry played with his stuffed animal snake. In an hour the little boy would be going out with his Auntie and mother. The boy needed an official name change. Bella was coming to take him to the bank today, Cissy would be there also to name the boy as she was the mother. They had the blood adoption completed before the breakfast fuss had happened, thankfully. Harry looked like a perfect blend of all three of them. He had the Malfoy eyes, the Black nose and hair, the Prince cheeks and the midnight black hair with platinum blonde streaks. He didn't know how old he was but the scans revealed that he was around seven years old and small for his age. He was mentally only three. They had debated names and the only one that seemed right was Orion. It wasn't like the boy knew his name anyways. That thought made Severus pick the boy up and hug him, uncaring of the students that watched in shock. The door opened to allow a sane Bella, unrecognizable without the glamour, to waltz in and sweep the boy up into a hug and spin him in a circle.
"There you are Orion! Let's go have some fun with your Mommy and I!" Harry giggled as Bella tickled him. He held his snake, Dray, out and she kissed it to humor him. Draco and the other fifth year Slytherins waved to Orion as he was whisked away.
"Ugh! That was disgusting! No good Slytherins shouldn't be allowed to raise kids!" Ron's comment was met with death stares from most of the fifth years and agreement from Hermione. Neville stood and punched Ron in the face. Everyone was in shock.
"Shut up, Weasley! You're nothing but a bully! I am sick and tired of the way you treat people, especially Harry Potter and the Slytherins! If you say one more thing like that, you will find that the House of Longbottom will no longer be your ally." Neville was panting at the end of his short outburst. He turned to the Professor and bowed. It was the first time he actually wasn't afraid of his professor. He decided to use his courage to call his professor the correct title. "Sorry, Lord Prince. I'll take whatever punishment for attacking a fellow student."
"Heir Longbottom, 40 points to Gryffindor for showing courage and responsibility that befits your house and your title. I hope you will continue to be an example of a true Gryffindor unblinded by House rivalry. Weasley, detention with Filch for the rest of the year, possibly the rest of your time at Hogwarts. All of you are excused. Malfoy, with me." Severus swept out of the room, Draco following. Severus smiled at the shocked looks on the fifth years's faces as he and Draco flooed to the bank to spend the day with Slytherin's Smallest Snake as the Daily Profit called the boy.
