A boy only 13 was laying in a hospital bed having a machine breath for him. He was having an iv bag attached to him to feed him. On a chair next to his bed, there was a sleep deprived mess man that was once feared by nations. Standing a few feet away was an old man who is still the strongest in the village despite his age. His hat covered his eye's, but this man's heart was breaking for the boy lying there was like a grandson to him. All of a sudden the door slammed opened causing both men to look up, only to hang their heads in shame. "Naruto hows Naruto..." when he saw the Naruto laying there he too broke down. He fell to his knees sobbing muttering how it was all his fault and how he should have made sure Naruto was really okay before leaving.

time skip 5 days layer

Sai's Pov

After that Damn snake bastard attacked and gave the Uchiha a curse mark we had to go thru so much trouble. But I didn't care all I really cared about was that I was going to see Naruto today. I could barely contain my excitement, I hope he hasn't done anything stupid. I was carrying Sasuke and Sakura on my ink beast since they both passed out. To be honest I was disappointed that Sakura who seemed to finally do something when the only thing she did was cut her hair. When we finally got to the tower and unraveled the scroll I realized it was a sealing scroll and threw it on the ground. Iruka-sensei appeared and didn't seem to well and looked like a mess.

he spoke in a sad and depressing tone "you needed to get the heaven and earth since heaven can't exist without Earth or something like that."

"sensei you don't seem well what's wrong?"Sakura asked, worried about her sensei.

he glared at her "what would you care you are one of the reasons Naruto who is like a little brother to me is in a hospital!"

it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. my heart slowed... Naruto is in a hospital bed...But no one here could even lay a hand on him...no... no, it can't be...NO IT CAN'T BE TRUE...."NO Iruka-sensei NARUTO COULDN'T OF..."

he looked guiltily to the floor " I'm sorry."

I fell to the ground sobbing uncontrollably. "well serves him right weak demons like him deserve that...after all if he wasn't strong enough it would have happened sooner or later."

my head snapped to her killer intent surrounded me and she started to choke. "ARE YOU FUCKING STUPiD HE IS A MILLION TIMES STRONGER THEN YOU, YOU THINK HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF A FIGHT! HE IS IN THE DAMN HOSPITAL BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE HIM HURT HIMSELF, PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE HIS SUICIDAL!...YOU THINK THIS IS THE FIRST TIME HE ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF THIS DAMN VILLAGE!"

I was breathing heavily while she was glaring back at me a weak glare that was saying 'so who cares about him'

I took a deep breath so I don't kill her and walked past her to find someone. That person was a redhead who helped push Naruto to this decision. But before I could we had to start the 3rd part... well more like the 2.5 part.

The first fight was someone I don't know so I decided to help Kakashi with Sasuke's seal. I entered the room and I helped Kakashi with it and when we left it was perfect timing because it was his turn. I smiled at the name the stuck up Uchiha vs. Rock Lee, the Uchiha will get knocked off his pedestal and the best part about it is that the one knocking him off can't even use chakra.

Sasuke and Lee made their way to the arena. As soon as the fight began Lee started his countless attacks. Sasuke was able to dodge a few, but I would say about 3 out of every 4 hits actually hit him. Sasuke was getting beat up pretty badly since although he was better than the rest of his academy class at taijutsu he was still pretty average. Lee, on the other hand, was a monster being trained by Gai and only able to rely on his Taijutsu. Finally, Sasuke got far enough back to do a fireball jutsu. But it did little to help him since Lee dodged it with ease.

it went back to Lee beating Sasuke to a pulp. Lee begged Sasuke to surrender since "it is not youthful" finally the Referee ordered that Sasuke has lost. This made Sasuke blow up with rage although he could barely stand "WHAT! I AM THE GREAT SASUKE UCHIHA I WILL NOT LOSE! LEE HOW DARE YOU LOOK DOWN UPON ME! HOW DARE YOU ONLY USE TAI JUTSU!"

I stared in shock how big was this guy's ego. Lee said with his usual toothy grin " I'm sorry Uchiha-san but I can't do any jutsus and I'm sorry if it seemed like I was holding back."

He jumped up and walked up to me. "Sai how's it going"

I gave him a small smile "why didn't you tell him about the weights?"

He gave me a huge smile and said "that would be unyouthful, you should always be a good winner and not rub it in."

I took a deep breath before looking back at the arena "you do know you don't have to keep up that mask around me."

his eyes dropped and made them look normal. His giant smile turned to a thin line. he slouched "yeah I know"

Hi well, maybe it will take a little longer for you to hate me but trust me you will in a few chapters.
