Dark
I'm consciously awake but I'm still in my bed. Ang sarap kasi sa pakiramdam iyong nakahiga ka lang at nilalasap ang lambot ng higaan at kumot pero may trabaho ako na kailangan kong gampanan ng mabuti kung ayaw kong mabungangaan ng demonyo.
Kahit na ayaw pa ng katawan ko ay pinilit kong bumangon. Naghihikab akong pumunta sa banyo upang magmumog at maghilamos.
Nang matapos ako ay agad akong nagprepare ng makakain for breakfast. I always choose bread and jam to fill in my stomach. Nakasanayan ko na dahil madali lang siya iprepare and fruit jams are my favorite. Marami akong stock niyon sa fridge ko with different flavors.
Mabilis akong naligo at nagdrive papunta sa Triangulo. Mabilis akong nakapunta sa opisina ko dahil sa private elevator na ako sumasakay. Binati agad ako ng aking sekretarya pagkakita niya sa'kin. I just nod and went inside my office. After she told me my morning appointments ay nag-umpisa ko nang ireview ang mga on-going projects ng Triangulo.
For the past weeks ay marami akong tinatrabaho, which is a good thing dahil nakakalimutan ko ang tungkol sa gago kong ex.
Napatingala naman ako nang marinig ko ang boses ng aking sekretarya.
"The conference room is ready for the 10:30 meeting, miss." Agad akong tumango at pinadala sa kanya ang mga kailangang dalhin sa meeting.
I went inside the conference room and saw everyone seated. Ako nalang ang kulang. I held my head up high and mighty. I'm a Villafuerte afterall. Everyone stood up bago ako makarating sa aking pwesto.
"Goodmorning everyone. Let's all be seated, shall we?" I said and sat. Agad naman silang sumunod.
"At the left, fourth seat is the owner of Kingdom Iraza, Miss." my secretary whispered. Agad ko namang hinanap ang tinutukoy niya only to see a man looking at me intensely.
I held his gaze. He's looking at me with this dark expression that I cannot fathom. It's like I've done something bad to him and I don't even know what.
Sa huli ay ako ang bumitaw sa aming tinginan. I cleared my throat and looked in front.
"Let's start?"
The team started presenting their plans on the next hotel the Triangulo will build. The location is in a very famous beach in Davao.
We decided to buy materials from the Kingdom Iraza since Uncle Cent recommended it saying they have a better quality products than the Avida's. Ngayon lang kami bibili ng gamit sa ibang kompanya dahil sa nagdaang taon ay laging sa Avida kami kumukuha.
The designing team already sent them the designs of the hotel and they are now presenting their products to us which fits the designs.
"As for the furnitures, Kingdom Iraza can customize it for the hotel." napataas ang kilay ko sa sinabi ng lalaki sa harap. I can see how he gulped when I looked at him with my brow up.
"You also give such service?" I asked.
"Y-yes Ma'am! We can make furniture designs just for your company. If, you'll let us."
That was kinda convincing since isa sa pagiging unique ang gustong irepresenta ng Triangulo sa madla. Accepting their offer would do the trick.
I looked at the owner of Kingdom Iraza at bahagyang nagulat nang makitang nakatingin ito sa akin. His lips on a thin line, showing his prominent jaw. I cleared my throat because of the sudden feeling I felt because of his stares.
"S-so, it is settled then? We'll be doing business with you." I said and I can hear my team agreeing with me.
I was a bit taken a back when he smirked at me and then he stood up. I was just looking at him. Umalis siya sa kanyang pwesto at naglakad papalapit sa akin. Nahigit ko ang hininga ng akalain kong lalapit siya ng tuluyan pero bigla namang kumalma nang binigyan niya ako ng sapat na distansya mula sa kanya.
