I lay on the grass

The leaves tangling my hair

The dandelions tickling my sides

I watch the clouds contort their shape as they float by

For once in my life, I am content

But even so, one thing is missing

Laying next to me in the soft green grass, my fingers entangled in his hair

His arms wrapped around my waist

But then I open my eyes and he's gone

I touch my cheek and feel a tear fall down my face

Yet again, another beautiful moment plagued with the thoughts of him
