the honeysuckle hits my tongue

and for a second i'm in paradise

a sweet yet so short euphoria i felt

in the moment as the warmth engulfed me

kissing my skin so softly

like the feeling of butterflies fluttering near my face

and suddenly it all slips away from my grasp

and i'm back in my garden

overflowed with weeds and vines

before i pick another delicate flower from its gone

to feel paradise yet again
