Chapter 4 - The request

"What is it?" Takumi asked

"Since that race, I kind of wanted to see your driving beside you. Your skills were actually really impressive.. I'm still wondering how you managed to get through C-121 smoothly without any problems." Sayuki replied

"I didn't really know how to enter that corner at the time, all I did was follow the Sileighty's moves, honestly." said Takumi

"Well, why don't you run this track like your practice runs of Project.D while I'm beside you?" Sayuki asked

"Project.D has been disbanded since the defeat of Shinji. Ryosuke said it's the final battle" Takumi replied

"I heard about that one, so I'd love to experience your driving firsthand." said Sayuki

"Also, what happened to the 86 after the engine blow?" Sayuki asked

"Ehehe" Takumi replied while rubbing his head

"The Eight-Six's engine is currently being swapped with another engine again. I don't think it'll be the same engine as last one." said Takumi

Takumi continued, "According to Fumihiro, I heard that Ryosuke-san will replace the engine with a F20C with a couple of modifications. I'm not sure how it would turn out.."

"You mean, the S2000's engine?" Sayuki asked

"I'm not sure myself. It might belong to the S2000 for all I know." Takumi said

"You know, it's still afternoon, why don't you follow me somewhere to kill time?" Sayuki said

"W-wait, m-me? Are you really sure about this?" questions Takumi while blushes a bit

"Yeah. Why not? It's not like we're ba- Ehem. I mean, it's just the 3 of us hang out at our house. Make sure to bring your extra clothes and towels," answers Sayuki with a winky face
