What is Ita Lolita?
Ita Lolita, ita loli or just ita is the term Lolitas use for a girl who's a newbie in the fashion. It's like when someone joins an otaku group saying he's an otaku when he has only seen Naruto and Dragon Ball. Exactly it.
The word 'ita' comes from the japanese word 'itai' wich means 'pain'. Why? Because looking at a girl like this may hurt your eyes. Literally.

How to avoid being an ita? Itas are constantly known for their cheap and low quality dresses, cheap lace (and tons of it), cheap fabrics, arm and leg warmers....
You could avoid being an ita considering this:
- Try yo wear always nice quality clothes. - Don't wear too much lace on it - Try to use different colors (if you're using gothic, I would recommend you Moitié since their dresses are with colors in the same palette and then a different color to make it nicer) - If you're not sure about the quality, check the photos. If it looks shiny do not buy it. - Stay away from satin. It may be a horrible fabric for daily use but also looks like a cheap costume.

I guess that was it. Finally, I just wanted to tell you that Lolita is a really strict fashion and when buying something don't just buy it because it says 'lolita'.
